While it performed well, I absolutely hated that distinct feeling of having a film over my face. After that, I mostly avoided using setting sprays. I've been enjoying Espoir's powder, and this setting spray came as part of a set. I had tossed it aside at first, but after trying it once, I liked it so much that I immediately bought the full-size product. I've never tried the famous Urban D*** product, but as someone who once used multiple bottles of the once-popular MAC Fix+, here's my assessment: Its performance is comparable to MAC Fix+, but without that suffocating feeling of having a film over your face! 5 stars! Usually by evening, my skin gets oily and my morning makeup looks like it's mostly disappeared, so touch-ups are a must. But on days when I use this, it holds everything in place to some extent without touch-ups, making even the slight fading look pretty. Oh, and for reference, I hardly sweat on my face - it's like I don't have sweat glands there! Anyway, with this performance at this price point, there's no reason not to use it. Unless something extraordinary comes along, I'll probably keep using this. —————————-Update The review above was written after using it for touch-ups for a day or two and feeling good about it. But after using it from morning for over a week, I don't think the setting effect lasts all day. So I'm retracting my statement about it being as effective as MAC Fix+. I've deducted one star because of this. However, I still love that it doesn't feel like there's a film on my face. But now I'm curious about other setting sprays, so I probably won't repurchase this one. There are no cons. No matter how hard I look, I can't find any. I'm sticking with this product! I simply spray it evenly all over after finishing my makeup, and that's it! I don't close my eyes tightly when spraying because it needs to cover everything, including the eyeliner!

I bought it because I love Espoir's signature pleasant scent, and this product didn't disappoint - it smells wonderful and seems to help my makeup last longer. There's definitely a noticeable difference between days when I use this and days when I don't. I didn't really find any drawbacks, but if I had to pick one, I'd say the amount you get is a bit small compared to the price.

I apply it before my base makeup, spray it on my puff, and then once more after my base. This method keeps my makeup intact for about half a day without touch-ups, which I really like. Unlike Urban Decay's products that focus on perfect setting, this might suit dry skin types better than oily ones. As someone with dry skin, I found it pleasantly lightweight to use.

My makeup used to come off easily and break down quickly, but with this product, the staying power is really impressive! When I use it before applying cushion foundation, my makeup seems to last much longer. The spray doesn't come out as a fine mist, so if you hold it too close, it leaves droplets on your face. But if you spray from too far away, it feels like nothing is reaching your skin at all. Since my makeup tends to come off easily and I sweat a lot, I use fixers frequently. My personal tip is to spray once before applying cushion foundation, then again after finishing my makeup. This really makes it last a long time, even when I'm sweating. The spray works well and the scent isn't overpowering, making it perfect for light, everyday use. It sets makeup well and keeps oil at bay! Absolutely fantastic! When sprayed after powder, it can cause some creasing, and the spray comes out in a stream rather than a fine mist For perfect makeup setting, spray after skincare, on your makeup sponge, and after foundation application

I don't usually have issues with my makeup breaking down, so I'm not sure about its lasting power, but I'm enjoying it so far. There's nothing to dislike about this fixer! I bought it in summer, and now it's already winter. The fixing power is so-so, and I don't plan to repurchase. It does a good job controlling excess oil. However, since it contains alcohol, it tends to strip away skin moisture along with the oil. The hydration disappears as soon as you spray it. I'd recommend this for those with oily skin. In winter, I layer my skincare and base makeup for a dewy look, then spray this on. My overall assessment is 'No intention to repurchase' and 'Decent enough'. Hyaluronic acid is included, making it instantly moisturizing upon spraying. After use, there was minimal darkening and clumping. While my skin condition was definitely better than without using a fixer, the effects weren't as impressive as I had hoped. It's a product you can use without issues, but I felt that for the same price, it might be more practical to use a more effective and well-known product. If you spray it between each step of your makeup routine in summer, your makeup will last much longer.
