I was in a rush to buy a toner when I ran out, and luckily there was a buy-one-get-one-free deal when I purchased it, so I'm using it at a pretty good price! My skin type is combination dehydrated with lots of dead skin cells and blemishes - basically the worst skin ever. But when I use this toner, it seems to absorb well and leaves a decent finish. Sometimes it feels like other skincare products don't sink in properly and just sit on top of my skin. If you apply a soothing gel to your face and then soak a cotton pad with this toner for a DIY face mask, your skin feels calmer the next day! - mi**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 2, 2025
It seems to have great hydrating power. I think it would be excellent for those with dry or sensitive skin. I'd advise against it for oily skin types, as it feels a bit rich. This product appears to be a moisturizer that works well for certain skin types but may not be suitable for all. It's important to consider your individual skin needs when choosing skincare products. - je********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 11, 2025
I bought this during the Olive Young sale last December. When I used it as a toner, it was just okay. But when I made it into a toner pack and used it before makeup, it really made a difference! My skin's heat noticeably decreased, and my makeup went on much smoother without patchiness. I highly recommend using it as a toner pack! When used as a regular toner, it feels cool at first, but once it's fully absorbed, my skin starts to feel warm again. Seriously, if you make a toner pack using cotton pads from Daiso, it works wonders for makeup application. Your skin will drink it up! - r6********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessJun 6, 2025
When you layer this product, it gives your skin that plump, bouncy feeling like you've applied an ampoule. After using this toner, my skin completely freaked out. I usually do well with houttuynia cordata extract, but I have no idea why this one caused such a reaction. It's so frustrating! - bt******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 16, 2025
The toner alone seems to be sufficient for hydration, so it might be better for those with dry skin rather than oily skin. There's also a generous amount, so it's fine to use as a facial pack. However, some people may feel it's too oily, and even though I have dry skin, I found it to be quite greasy and heavy after application. It caused some breakouts, so I've stopped using it for a few days. Before the renewal, I used the previous product, and after trying the new one, my skin has a lot of oiliness, likely due to the hyaluronic acid. The absorption is poor, and it just sits on the surface of my skin. Since it's summer, I should use it more to see, but honestly, I think the pre-renewal product was better. I wish I had just gone back to the original. - ra*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRecommendedMay 4, 2025
It has a bit more viscosity than a watery toner! I bought a foam dispenser from Daiso to apply it, and it works great. Even with just one application, there's a slight stickiness. While there might be a slight stickiness, it's perfect for those like me who feel a bit dry after using a completely watery toner. Daiso foam dispenser! - ki************RecommendedMay 3, 2025
I initially tried their mask and it worked so well that I decided to buy their toner too. It's great for calming my skin and keeps it nicely hydrated. There's not much to complain about, but if I had to nitpick, I'd say the scent isn't particularly appealing. - ja*******RecommendedMay 2, 2025
I've been consistently applying this product after cleansing my face both morning and evening. It's so gentle that I can layer it multiple times without any stickiness, making it great to use before starting my skincare routine. I also love soaking a cotton pad with it to cool down my skin when it feels a bit warm. It's a fantastic product for a soothing, refreshing skincare experience that's perfect for super sensitive skin! It might feel a bit drying if you only use it once, so I recommend applying multiple layers for best results! - kj*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 22, 2025
Application: Feels like a water-based toner Absorption: Absorbs well into the skin! Recommended skin types: Sensitive/Blemish-prone/Oily or Combination Disappointing aspects => None at all! Not recommended for => Dry skin, combination dehydrated skin! (Instead of this water-based toner, opt for something with more richness!) Pro tip: Buy 1/2 cotton pads from Olive Young, soak them in this toner, and you've got yourself an instant sheet mask that works wonders! - jr******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I don't usually cleanse in the morning. Instead, I prefer to refine my skin texture with an exfoliating toner. For this purpose, I find that watery formulas work better than sticky ones, and this product fits the bill perfectly. While it can feel a bit drying after one application, layering it a few times creates quite a nice moisturizing effect. I apply it this way after my evening cleanse. There's nothing particularly negative for me! While it's excellent as an exfoliating toner, I suspect it might be too drying if used alone in your skincare routine. I'd recommend trying this as an exfoliating toner. The price point is also quite reasonable, so you can use it generously without worry!
