I actually ended up using it for about 20 days due to a late submission. First off, the way it absorbs is similar to the red cream from Doc*or! I had a feeling this formula would be even better if refrigerated before use, so that's exactly what I did. And wow! Using it this way gave a cooling sensation that seemed to soothe my skin's heat.
