No complaints! I've tried various types including Pro Cica and Retinol A Collagen Original, but as a frequent vitamin serum user, this one is my go-to.

The gel-type formula has a nice bouncy texture that absorbs well and feels refreshing. It contains yellow vitamin capsules that burst quickly as you massage it in. The retinol intensity feels milder than Cica 100. I found it pairs better with thicker, slightly sticky serums after applying the Retinol Shot. When used alone it can feel a bit tacky, but combined with the Retinol Shot it's less sticky. Using them together leaves my skin with a beautiful glow the next day and refines my skin texture.

I recommend using it about once a week, but for 2-4 consecutive days at a time. The key is to boost your skin's condition to its peak, then give it a rest for about 3 days before providing the necessary stimulation again. This routine seems to work best.

When used consecutively every day, the satisfaction level drops compared to the dramatic effects felt during the first couple of uses after a long break. Given that it contains physical micro-needles, while it doesn't cause blemishes, it feels like giving your skin periodic breaks would be beneficial.

Texture: It's a translucent gel type with high moisture content and a slightly substantial feel, not too lightweight. Despite being a gel, it forms a sufficiently moisturizing layer that doesn't feel lacking even when applied alone over toner.

Application/Absorption: It spreads easily on the skin and absorbs quickly, similar to a hydrophilic moisturizer. Compared to cream-type micro-needle products from other brands that sometimes felt like they were sitting on top of the skin, this one sinks in rapidly, making it comfortable to use.

Irritation: Despite containing micro-needles, it didn't cause any stinging or burning sensations on my normal, non-sensitive skin when used at 100% concentration. There's an occasional slight prickling sensation, which actually reassured me of the micro-needles' presence. Importantly, it didn't trigger any blemishes.

Effectiveness: The results are immediate. From day one, my skin felt more elastic and noticeably more hydrated. While I expected it to mainly boost the effectiveness of subsequent skincare products, it's actually quite sufficient on its own. Personally, I found the anti-aging effects more noticeable than the brightening effects.

Because it tingles, I'd advise against trying it if you're sensitive to discomfort. Also, it seems like you should be careful when your skin is in a sensitive state as it might cause irritation. In terms of functionality, it's quite good, so there aren't really any downsides.

I bought a set of small packages during a sale and tried it out. I was worried because people said it stings, but it wasn't as uncomfortable as I expected. Just a slight tingling? After about 10 minutes, it felt fine, so I thought it was okay and bought two more bottles. I bought it because users mentioned it had some brightening effects. Despite the higher price due to added features compared to the basic Real Shot, not only did I see no effects, but my skin actually got much worse. As I used it, my skin became increasingly oily, and I saw no improvement in pores or brightening. In fact, as it got oilier, my skin became drier, and it seemed to pill like dead skin. Blemishes that hadn't appeared in a long time started showing up, signaling another battle with acne scars. When I stopped using it, my skin immediately improved. It really didn't suit my skin at all.

I'm not sure if it suits my skin, and I couldn't really tell the difference between this and the regular Real Shot. While the basic Real Shot wasn't a plus, at least it wasn't a minus... It's disappointing for such a renowned product.

After using this, make sure to apply a super hydrating cream on top for best results.
