Even though it's a powder, there was no dryness at all when I applied it as the final step in my makeup routine to remove excess oil! My skin has been quite dry lately, so I wasn't using powder much, and I was wondering if it would be okay for the seasonal change, but there was no dryness or cakiness, so it's been great to use lightly. It's a compact type, but it seems to cover pores well and make my skin tone smooth, so I think it will be a must-have for summer.

When applying with the puff, you have to be careful not to make it look too thick, so you'll need to control the amount.

🩷Wearing Experience🩷 The biggest advantages of this product were the 'pore coverage' and 'uneven skin texture coverage'. I usually put a lot of effort into my makeup because of my pores, but for someone like me with an oily skin condition, the Hince Second Skin Airy Powder was the perfect powder. Even with my sebum-prone skin, it covers the pores and uneven skin texture without any flakiness - it's a godsend! Especially in the summer, it controls the oiliness while also helping to smooth out the skin texture, so it will be very useful. 🩷Color and Texture🩷 The color is beige, but when applied on the skin, it doesn't make me look overly pale - it just gives a natural, slightly radiant look. I didn't like it when the powder color was too strong, as it would dull the foundation, but this one was satisfactory in that regard. The texture is finely milled and doesn't clump easily, which I liked. 🩷Applicator🩷 Oh, Hince really outdid themselves with the packaging this time - the case is so, so, so pretty! It's a matte, light pink color that's slim and simple, making me want to take it out of my bag just to touch up my makeup. The puff is also a soft, fluffy material that applies the fine powder gently and evenly.

It helps control shine and leaves a soft, fluffy finish. After applying sunscreen, I wanted to finish with a powdery look because I don't like the greasy feeling, but I also don't like dryness, so I decided to try this. Applying it just to the T-zone and cheek area works perfectly! I'd recommend this even for dry skin types if you use a light finishing touch. I have slightly dry skin.

It's been a really long time since I've used this type of powder foundation since makeup tends to look cakey on me, but I had a feeling I'd been secretly using it often (personal experience). Anyway, Hince products have an overall amazing design, and this powder foundation didn't look cakey at all. I thought I had oily skin, but it turns out I have a combination skin type that's dry and prone to flakiness. I would definitely repurchase this at over 95% intention. I have to deal with cat hair on my face every day, so powder is an absolute necessity for me. This powder not only smooths out the texture without emphasizing pores, but also gives a beautifully filtered look. I start with a sun cream as my base, then lightly apply Estée Lauder foundation on the apples of my cheeks and T-zone. On top of that, I dab on this airy powder, focusing on the shiny areas like my forehead and around my hairline. It leaves my skin so soft and smooth all day without any need for touch-ups. Those with fair skin would likely suit the lavender shade, while the beige one was a perfect match for my darker complexion.
Cons
Of the 95% repurchase intention, 5% is because I've only used it about 5 times as it's a new product, so I'll need to use it more to fully evaluate it. But so far, it seems like an excellent powder foundation.
Tip
I have large pores and flaky skin (oily in the T-zone), so I apply my base makeup very thinly with my fingers. If the base is too thick, the powder on top can look cakey. My skin is quite dry, so after applying foundation, I would feel a sense of dryness when I put on powder. But with this product, I don't feel that dryness at all. It's perfect for those who want a matte skin finish. And the packaging is the cutest I've seen!

The winter air is so dry that I avoided powder products, but now that spring has bloomed, I'm already sweating when I go outside😅 My makeup was falling apart, and I needed a setting powder to prevent oiliness. The Hince Skin Airy Powder is just the thing. With its lightweight, airy particles that don't cake on the skin, and the special dual-coated powder, this setting powder helps lock in my initial makeup look. Just a light dusting on top after finishing my makeup prevents any breakdown and controls oil👍🏻😵 The color-correcting effect also gives a smooth, even-toned look without making my face look puffy☺️ And the packaging...! This is truly a supernatural being. It feels less dry than Mr. No-Sebum and becomes very soft and beautiful. The size is smaller than a regular cushion (April Hero, Espoir), but larger than most powders (No-Sebum, Daiso purple, Codegloss). Even with just skincare and this alone, it makes one look human-like.
Cons

This powder is truly lightweight, just as its name 'Airy Powder' suggests. No matter how much you apply, it never cakes up!! I really dislike my forehead and T-zone getting shiny, so I always set my foundation or cushion with powder all over. But some products can get too dry over time, causing them to cake or crack and crumble messily. This product, however, has no cracking, caking, or unsightly crumbling. Even yesterday when I sweated quite a bit due to the heat, there were no stains or fading. It's very sweat-resistant. Whether you use the included puff or brush, it never cakes up. If you need a bit more coverage, the puff is good, and if you want to control oil and texture, the brush works well. (It doesn't provide much coverage on its own though.) And when you misuse powder, it can sometimes cause bumps, but there's absolutely none of that with this product^^ Even though my skin is more sensitive than ever right now due to my pregnancy, I was able to use this very comfortably. As the weather changes, I was going to buy a new powder, but I'm so glad I discovered this great product through the Hwahae Trial Reviewers. I'll definitely be sticking with this one all year round!! I give it an absolute, strong recommendation!
Cons
It would be great if the product had more color options like purple, sky blue, and white to better cover skin concerns. As summer approaches, I find powders to be better than creams or pot types.
