Texture: Moisturizing feel suitable for use all year round. Appreciated that it wasn't drying. The formula is close to liquid consistency. 2. Natural brightening: Gives a clear complexion effect (but doesn't drastically lighten, minimal brightening - closer to organic sunscreen) 3. Recommended for & seasons: Suitable for dry to oily skin types. Perfect for winter and dry weather. Likely good for summer too (doesn't dissolve when sprayed with water, so should hold up well against sweat) 4. Compatibility: Works well as a second layer over other products 5. Amount: 15g generous size. Similar to standard cushion compacts 6. Sturdy container, large mirror, long shelf life (10/24/2027), attractive exterior (slightly reminiscent of A'pieu Water Lock style)
Cons1. The product seal is located near the hinge, making it slightly challenging to open with bare hands if you have short nails (initially hard to spot). However, it opens easily once you locate it - refer to the photo for guidance 2. The scent may be polarizing. Has a slight medicinal smell, close to a strawberry-medicine scent. If you're particular about fragrances, it's recommended to smell it before purchasing (Note: The scent doesn't linger on the face and isn't overpowering. However, if you're very sensitive to smells, you might want to pass)
Tip1. Double cleansing is a must! Foam cleansing alone won't remove it completely. Use cleansing oil followed by regular cleansing for thorough removal 2. Great for layering if you're only applying sunscreen 3. Excellent as a brightening base before makeup or foundation application

After using only cream-based products, I found the sun cushion to be lightweight and less irritating to my skin. It provided a natural brightening effect with a subtle glow, making me think I could get away with just this one product. The smooth application left my skin looking hydrated and dewy. Even with multiple layers, it felt moisturizing and light, without any heaviness. I have combination skin, and I did notice it felt slightly dry after a while. It might be a good idea to build a solid skincare base before applying the sun cushion.
ConsWhen applying, I noticed the puff seemed to absorb a lot of the product at first, making it feel slightly difficult to spread. There was also a bit of a floating effect on the skin. It would probably work better if applied over a well-prepped base. This is especially important for those with dry skin - a thorough skincare routine beforehand is crucial.

Radiant brightening effect: The clear, luminous peach tone beautifully enhances the skin's appearance. Minimal blemishes: Even those with sensitive skin can likely use it without major issues. Comfortable feel: It's neither drying nor excessively moisturizing, making it easy to use without worry. Pleasant scent: The fragrance isn't overpowering, allowing for comfortable use.
ConsSome pilling occurs around the nose, so a good skincare routine is necessary to minimize pore clogging and excess oil. After some time, a slight oiliness develops on the forehead and nose areas. Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying, as it doesn't seem to fully maintain hydration.
TipFor a dewy finish, make sure to apply the cushion after thorough skincare. Keep this in mind!

It naturally brightens your complexion without making you look overly pale, allowing you to achieve a lively appearance. It's great that it can also double as a sunscreen. I love that it's in cushion form, making it easy to pat on, and unlike many brightening products, it doesn't feel dry. It adheres well to the skin without any patchiness, which I really appreciate.
ConsHowever, if you have a darker skin tone, it might leave a slight white cast. This seems to be a common issue with most tone-up sun cushions, so it's somewhat unavoidable. It's not very effective at covering pores, and applying it too thickly can actually accentuate them. The coverage is also quite light.
TipI recommend layering it thinly multiple times for the best results!

What I loved most is that it comes as a compact, so you don't have to get your hands messy like with regular sunscreens. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous! When I showed it to my friend asking if she wanted to try it, she couldn't stop gushing about how beautiful it looks. It's so pretty that people might not even realize it's sunscreen! It contains hyaluronic acid, which might be why I didn't feel any tightness or dryness on my face. It brightens your complexion naturally, making it perfect for those no-foundation days. Highly recommended!
ConsThe scent... personally, it's not my favorite, but it wasn't too bothersome. My friend actually liked it, so I guess it's a matter of personal preference. One downside is that not much product comes out at once, so you need to tap it several times, which can be a bit inconvenient. Other than that, it wasn't bad at all!
TipPress firmly and pat it all over your face!

With the built-in puff, you can quickly achieve a brightened complexion and sun protection without getting your hands messy. Its SPF50+ PA++++ formula offers powerful UV defense, while minimizing white cast for a natural-looking skin tone correction. I was pleased with its non-drying, hydrating finish. It works well as a primer before makeup, applying smoothly without pilling, and on makeup-free days, it's perfect as a light base.
ConsThe main drawback is its somewhat lacking longevity. The brightening effect gradually fades over time, necessitating reapplication. Also, it might feel a bit heavy on oily skin, so those with combination dehydrated skin might want to set it lightly with powder. While the included puff is convenient, it's challenging to keep it hygienic, which is a bit disappointing.
Tip• Layering thinly multiple times creates a more natural look and improves longevity. • If you have oily skin, finishing with a light dusting of powder can help maintain a matte finish. • The puff can easily become contaminated, so clean it regularly or purchase separate puffs for replacement to maintain hygiene.

It's perfect for my daily routine since I don't focus much on skin coverage but prefer to brighten my dull complexion. My skin usually feels tight quickly after applying products, but this one definitely felt less so. Plus, being a sun cushion, it's great for reapplying sunscreen when I'm out. These days, I often go out wearing just this, or add a bit of spot concealer if I want a more polished look. In the photo, the redder side shows my skin before application.
ConsIt can accentuate dead skin cells in areas where exfoliation hasn't been done. The cushion puff doesn't seem to pair perfectly with the formula. Also, the cushion content appears to be a mix of white and pink, but it's hard to gauge how much product you're picking up as it's not very visible on the puff. Given that it's a tone-up product, I think it might be challenging to apply enough for sufficient sun protection all over the face.
TipApplying it all over your face might result in a floating, overly pale look. I prefer to apply a transparent sunscreen during my skincare routine, then use this tone-up sunscreen cushion to brighten specific areas like the center of my forehead and cheeks for a more radiant appearance.

I'm attaching a photo so you can see the coverage! 1. Hydration & Cooling Effect It's hydrating rather than moisturizing (you know the difference, right? It's a feeling). That's why it feels light and applies well without feeling heavy or like it's blocking my skin. If you've done your skincare well, it doesn't feel particularly drying while applying. The cooling effect is great too - it instantly reduces skin heat and feels refreshing. Right after application, it might feel slightly transferable if you touch your cheeks, but after a short while, it sets to a powdery finish and doesn't transfer. (This might make it feel dry for those with dry skin.) 2. Low Irritation I didn't experience any itching or major breakouts while using this product. I did get a few small blemishes, but that could be due to my menstrual cycle. In any case, I didn't get any itching or cystic acne, so I consider it pretty good. 3. Natural but Definite Brightening I sometimes use the CellFusion C red mineral sunscreen too, and this product brightens more naturally than that one. Up close, you might wonder if it's really brightening, but under bathroom lighting or fluorescent lights, you can see the tone-up effect! At first, I kept applying more and it got too much... I think layering it twice is just right. By 'definite', I mean it noticeably brightens compared to your original skin tone, not that it makes you extremely pale. 4. Longevity I applied it at 2 PM before going out, and when I looked in the mirror at 9 PM, my complexion was still bright. It had become a bit more natural, but only slightly. 5. Coverage It covers redness to some extent. It doesn't settle into pores. No wrinkle emphasis. Minimal texture emphasis (less than CellFusion C). However, it does emphasize flaky skin a bit. My skin looks prettier than bare face, so I can go out wearing just this product! I usually can't go out without makeup... 6. Packaging This is personal preference, but I like the design with its mix of white and pink base. The transparent part where you place the puff is pretty too, as you can see the shape well.
Cons1. Dryness After application, as it sets, it becomes powdery. In other words, it feels drier than when you're patting it on with the puff. So those with dry skin might find it drying. I use an ampoule mist, ampoule, and a light moisturizing cream after washing my face, then apply this sun cushion, and I don't particularly feel any dryness. 2. Emphasizes Dead Skin Cells/Sebum If I use it after extracting acne, it emphasizes dead skin cells around that area and sebum around the mouth. But it's not severe. You have to look very closely to notice, and it doesn't seem to break down messily. (Probably because I don't apply a lot) 3. Puff The puff seems to absorb a lot of product. It also seems to make it apply more powdery. So after picking up product with the puff, you should first apply it to both cheeks, then pat to blend! 4. Coverage It doesn't cover dark circles or acne. 5. Cleansing I have a foam cleanser that usually removes my regular BB cream well after going out, but this product doesn't come off completely with just that. It feels like there's still some left around the sides of my nose, feeling a bit stiff and not completely removed. So I think I'll need to do a first cleanse with cleansing water or oil, then follow with foam cleansing.
TipPress the puff firmly into the product, then dab it onto both cheeks first! Then pat to blend the applied amount evenly. (If you blend one cheek at a time, it can clump and feel a bit heavy.) With one application, you can cover both cheeks and chin. (There's no more left on the puff after this.) Then, pick up more product with the puff and pat it onto your forehead and nose! This completes the first round. For areas that need more coverage, especially the center of the face, you can apply another layer to brighten it up! My daughter even thought it was hers and started eyeing it, haha. I love that it doesn't dispense too much product when you press it. It applies thinly, feels lightweight, doesn't clump, and evens out my skin tone beautifully. I'm using it with great satisfaction. It's amazing how it applies so thinly yet provides such good coverage! With the dry spring weather lately, it feels like it creates a moisture barrier after application. It doesn't get greasy, and I can go out wearing just this for a brightened complexion. Even when I apply powder on top, it doesn't pill. I highly recommend it! Unlike sunscreens that often pill and clump, this doesn't do that at all. It's great! When touching up, it doesn't clump even with reapplication. It's like applying a highlighter all over your face - the product gives such a radiant effect. It has that 'makes you look pretty when you wear it' effect!
ConsThe downside is that not much product comes out on the cushion, so you need to press harder or apply more to get the desired effect. You need to apply quite a bit for the tone-evening effect to show. I didn't experience any blemishes, but I wish it had a bit more hydration.
TipI first apply it lightly all over, then if I want more brightening, I use more product. It makes my face look fair and I love it! I even wear just this when going to the gym. People around me say my skin looks good - I guess it's because of the brightening effect!

It comes with a hygienic cap, allowing for clean usage. 2. I've tried tone-up sun cushions before, and while other brands' products definitely brightened my skin, they often looked unnatural and made my skin feel dry. So I was quite skeptical about tone-up sun cushions after that. However, the ELROEL Pang Pang Tone-Up Sun Cushion leaves a moisturizing finish. It absorbs well and feels refreshing too. Plus, it doesn't give an overly noticeable brightening effect, but rather naturally enhances your complexion, making it perfect for daily use!
ConsIf you apply too much, it can feel a bit greasy. However, as time passes, it settles into a subtle glow, so applying just one layer should be sufficient.
TipIt's great to use after your skincare routine and before makeup, or as a base replacement.
