  I have combination dehydrated skin that leans towards oily. Some products can feel a bit tight and accentuate dead skin cells, making my skin look flaky. But this one felt moisturizing! Even in cooler weather, I only needed a light dusting of powder to keep oil at bay. I also loved the subtle fragrance!

  While it didn't cause any blemishes, after using it daily for about a week, my skin felt slightly itchy. Also, after some time, my natural skin tone starts to show through. It doesn't completely fade away, but it does lighten up a bit, though still brighter than my natural complexion.

  March 20th I received it on the 19th and started using it properly on the 20th. 1. Scent When choosing cosmetics, scent is a factor. Upon opening, there was a floral fragrance? It's a pleasant aroma I've encountered before, but I can't quite put my finger on how to describe it. Nevertheless, I liked that the scent wasn't off-putting. 2. Amount The sponge feels a bit firm when pressed once, so you need to apply more pressure to get a decent amount of product. 3. Application It felt wonderfully cooling when applied to the face. As I have redness and heat on my face, the cooling sensation was very satisfying. (Face 1: bare skin, 2: first application, 3: pressed harder for more product and reapplied) 4. Dryness I have combination, dehydrated, deeply dry, and super sensitive skin - the whole package. After application, there's no feeling of extreme dryness.

  Cons

  While there aren't many downsides, if I had to mention some: 1. Coverage It's a brightening moisturizer cushion, but it doesn't really brighten the skin tone. You need to apply several layers to notice, 'Oh, it's a bit lighter?' And then it feels like the skin absorbs it, making the brightening effect disappear. 2. The cooling effect is momentary and then the heat sensation returns. Unfortunately, the cooling doesn't last very long.

  Tip

  For those with dry skin, please use a primer that allows for a solid skincare base and helps the makeup adhere well.

My complexion tends to have yellow undertones, so I've found that using this Ello L brightening moisturizer cushion before my regular cushion foundation really helps neutralize dark circles and yellow tones. Even when I get lazy and use just my regular cushion, I find myself reaching for this because the difference in radiance is noticeable. While it doesn't cover blemishes on its own, it does a great job of brightening up my overall skin tone. I'm quite satisfied with that effect. I didn't notice any white cast, which is a huge plus.   ✔️Less oily feel. Usually, after a while, my T-zone would get extremely oily, causing my previous sunscreens to wear off. But this one has just the right amount of richness, so it stays put! ✔️Lovely packaging and scent. Firstly, the packaging is adorably compact and perfect for on-the-go. The fragrance is delightful too - not chemical at all, more like a subtle floral or fruity scent! ✔️No pilling. When applied with the puff, it spreads evenly without clumping! ✔️Suits my skin well. My super sensitive skin usually reacts with blemishes to the slightest mismatch, but I experienced no irritation during the time I used this sunscreen! ✔️Similar to a brightening moisturizer.
