The adherence to the skin is quite good, and it provides excellent coverage.
ConsWhile results may vary for different people, I noticed it slightly darkened on my skin.

Highly recommended for combination to oily skin types. If you have dry skin, you might find it a bit drying even with a solid skincare routine.
ConsI noticed some darkening on my skin. It's darker compared to other 13 shade cushions, unfortunately.
TipOverall, the shades tend to run dark, so I'd suggest going one shade lighter than usual. To minimize darkening, try applying a makeup base before the cushion.

No more caking around the nose, just smooth skin... I'm so happy! Even when I'm not feeling my best, it applies thinly and makes my skin look good. Using a brush to apply works great. The semi-matte finish doesn't look cakey and is versatile.
ConsBecause it applies thinly, the coverage isn't absolutely top-notch. While darkening has improved, it's still a bit disappointing... probably because of how sheer it is.

Of course, you need to build a solid skincare base... When used with a setting spray, the longevity is insane. I have seven cushions at home, but this one's staying power seems to be number one. Just remember to use a small amount and apply thinly.
ConsIf you haven't done your skincare routine properly or your skin isn't in good condition, there might be a slight darkening effect. I recommend getting one shade lighter than usual.
TipControl the amount well and instead of spreading it thinly, pat it into the skin for best results.

When I heard it was reformulated, I decided to repurchase it. After reading various reviews, I bought it despite hearing that while it's less drying now, the coverage has decreased. I tend to agree with that assessment. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, matte products usually make my skin feel tight, but this one, while not particularly hydrating, doesn't cause that uncomfortable tightness, so it's okay. I usually use shades 13 to 17, and I like that the Black Cushion runs lighter. In comparison, the Hera Skin Radiant Glow Cushion in shade 13 is more like a 17-19, which didn't give me that bright look, so I ended up giving it to my mom. I compared the color with other cushions I've used recently. Blanc Diva is the lightest, while the Black Cushion and TheLab are similar in shade. The main difference is that the Black Cushion is matte, while TheLab is more hydrating.
ConsFirst off, I didn't like the puff, so I switched to a different one after just one day of use. It felt like it was removing moisture rather than adding it. It seemed to make my skin feel dry, and I didn't find the application particularly smooth. I usually think the included puff works best with its product, but not in this case. The darkening effect varied from day to day. I'm not sure if it depended on my skincare routine, but some days it was fine, while other days I'd notice darkening when I got home. That being said, the darkening wasn't severe. I'm sensitive to stearic acid and usually get blemishes when using products containing it. Even though it's listed towards the end of the ingredients, I still noticed a few small blemishes popping up. It's not enough to be a major concern, so I'll continue using it for now. To be fair, I get blemishes even with products that don't contain stearic acid, so it's hard to say for sure.

When the Black Cushion first launched, shade 13 was really yellow, thick, prone to darkening, and had a difficult texture to apply. While I thought it had good adherence, it oddly transferred a lot onto masks. The skin finish and longevity varied daily, perhaps depending on skin condition. The color was so dark that I didn't use it very often. The cushion puff was firm but didn't do much for pore coverage. When I heard about the first renewal, I immediately checked the colors. They brightened up, with less yellow undertones, changing to a pretty ivory shade. However, it still didn't feel like a true 13, more like a 15-16 in my opinion. The spreadability and application definitely improved. It enhanced pore and blemish coverage without any patchiness - a real improvement. The only thing I really disliked was the puff. While it was better than the previous version, the cushion formula would clump on the puff's surface. This interfered with the skin finish and longevity over time, so I switched to a different puff. And the darkening... it was really severe. I didn't notice it much in cool autumn or winter weather, but in summer, especially when humid... it turned incredibly yellow. Maybe because the renewed version started out lighter, the difference was shockingly noticeable. I couldn't use it in summer - my face would get darker and yellower than my neck. Despite this, I used it for a long time out of loyalty. My thoughts on this latest renewal: The formula is thinner and feels super fine. Blemish and pore coverage are the same as the previous version. I've been wearing it for about 8 hours and haven't noticed any darkening yet. But... if it's supposed to be matte, it should be clearly matte. It feels slightly more hydrating... These days, many matte cushions are ambiguously semi-matte, dewy-matte, or inner glow matte, which is why I deliberately avoid them. Even my trusted Black Cushion has become a bit more hydrating. The puff has improved a lot. It's similar to the old Pony Cushion's perfectly adhering puff, but slightly less firm.
ConsI'm not sure about everything yet, but I'll leave another review later to check on the darkening and other aspects. Sorry for the rush!
