I'm a fan of the Maximal line. As you can see in the photo, the texture, finish, and staying power are excellent. Of course, there might be differences between shades. Unfortunately, the Diva color turned out to be more intense than I expected, so I missed the mark with my color choice. I made the mistake of thinking it would be fine after testing it at Chicor. It's not very practical for everyday wear. Mixing it with more vibrant shades diminishes its charm. I found it looked best when dabbed lightly over Hug Me, so I wore it that way occasionally during fall and winter. I was hoping for an Espoir Fitting Tippi mood, but it's much deeper, which is a bit disappointing. Ugh, oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! The reviewer expresses mixed feelings about the product. While they appreciate the quality of the Maximal line, they're disappointed with their color choice. They found the Diva shade too intense for everyday use, limiting its versatility. However, they discovered a way to make it work by applying it lightly over another lipstick. The review provides helpful insights for potential buyers about the product's intensity and potential application methods. - yo*********Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 8, 2025
Number 5 is an excellent burgundy lip color for winter cool tones. It's perfect for autumn and winter wear. While it may appear brownish in photos, in reality, it's a cool, deep purple shade. This versatile color can give you either a hip or seductive look, depending on how you style it. It might be a bit intense for those with lighter complexions. This shade is likely to suit deep winter types better than bright winter ones! - hy*********Combination SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 17, 2025
Perfect shade for those with a light undertone! The texture is soft and powdery, and it's not too dry. When my skin wasn't in its best condition, it slightly emphasized dead skin cells on me. - al******Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 7, 2025
Deep purple hue. Sophisticated and elegant. Winter deep tones can wear it as is, but with my light undertone, I usually apply it thinly and blend for a gradient effect. It's a beautiful plum shade that's not tacky at all. Being matte, it can be disastrous if applied carelessly when lips are dry. After a few hours, the purple fades away, leaving only pink behind, turning it into a pink lip color. Moisturize well before applying the lipstick. Start with a thin layer all over, then gently pat more product onto the inner part of the lips for added depth. - li***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsSep 9, 2024
A deep burgundy wine shade with strong purple undertones. I can't remember why I bought it, but it's such a unique color that I'm keeping it in my collection. When applied lightly and blended out, it gives you that 'just had a lot of grape wine' look, perfect for when you want to create a certain mood! This lipstick has very low brightness and saturation, making it suitable for those with light undertones or darker skin tones.
