For my morning commute, I prefer using just a brightening moisturizer with SPF. I've stocked up on various options, but this one's my go-to! It does a great job of concealing redness and applies with a lovely, hydrating feel. As for staying power, well... it's practically non-existent. After an hour or two, it's like it was never there. And when my skin's not at its best or feeling particularly dry, it tends to flake off, unfortunately. - mi**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessApr 27, 2025
The absorbs incredibly well. After application, it creates an egg-shell smooth skin effect. No pore-clogging issues. Doesn't cause blemishes! My skin type is dry in winter and combination in summer. I have super sensitive skin prone to folliculitis and blemishes. I also experience redness and have keloid-prone skin with many scars. 'Applies smoothly' actually means it's too rich. After application, it feels like I've oiled my face. Though I have combination skin, it feels drying, possibly due to titanium dioxide sensitivity. Even with a solid skincare routine, my skin feels tight after a while, maybe due to the changing seasons. The excessive richness means I probably can't use it in summer. Using a no-sebum powder helps a bit, but it takes too long to set and slides off easily, so I'm not inclined to use it. Applying the recommended amount of sunscreen makes me look too pale. Using very small amounts in layers helps, but to prevent it from sliding off and looking too white, I had to apply it four times instead of the usual two. Patting it in for a long time slightly reduces the shiny effect, but then it seems to lose its redness-correcting power. This product is quite challenging to use. Apply in very thin layers. Use no-sebum powder for excessive oiliness. For dry skin, ensure a thorough skincare routine beforehand. - tn********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 4, 2024
It's great for covering overall redness and evening out the complexion. Using it before cushion foundation or liquid foundation makes your skin look much cleaner and more polished. It doesn't conceal red blemishes completely, so it's best to use a separate concealer for those areas. - hm********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinNov 26, 2024
It's quite fluid, making it easy to apply smoothly. The color-correcting effect makes it perfect for a bare-faced look. It seems to cause a warming sensation on the skin, so I don't think I'll be using it again... - dm*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 2, 2024
I'm currently loving this product! Before, I was using another brightening moisturizer with SPF, which was just okay, but I wanted to try something different. Here's why I'm impressed: 1. Color Correction: As someone with blemish-prone skin that tends to be red and inflamed, I opted for this green-based product for color correction. I'm thrilled with how naturally it applies! It definitely covers redness better than my regular skin tone, evening out my complexion beautifully. The green tint isn't overwhelming at all - in fact, it's barely noticeable once applied, which I love. 2. Staying Power: Being a sunscreen, its longevity isn't exceptional. As expected with SPF products, it does get a bit oily over time, especially in the T-zone. It can break down easily, but setting it with powder helps it last longer. However, after about half a day, it tends to clump with the powder and deteriorate, which is a bit disappointing. 3. Quantity: A little goes a long way in achieving the desired brightening effect. I've been using it for over a month, and there's still plenty left! Considering the amount you get, the price seems reasonable. I'll definitely repurchase - I think I've found my go-to brightening moisturizer with SPF! Even though I know it's a sunscreen, I personally find it too oily. It gets really shiny after a while... For a more dimensional look, try applying it all over your face first, then add an extra layer under your eyes and on your cheeks. This creates a brighter center, giving your face a subtle, sculpted appearance! - dr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 23, 2024
Great for evening out skin tone! Absorbs well into the skin. At first, you might think it looks a bit too white, but after about 5 minutes, it blends naturally with your skin. It ends up looking just like my natural complexion. The downside is... it doesn't last very long. I use this with sunscreen, but maybe because it's summer, it can't seem to hold up against sweat. The moment I start sweating... it's only a matter of time before my original skin tone shows through again. ----------- After using it for a few months, I've noticed it doesn't absorb well. It just sits on top of the skin, leaving a white cast. The scent is unpleasant, similar to a ginkgo fruit smell. It pills up like dead skin cells when rubbed. - 00*****Dry SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 20, 2024
While it doesn't provide coverage, it evens skin tone beautifully. It absorbs well and leaves the skin feeling hydrated. You need to be careful with the amount. If you apply it generously like other sunscreens, it can make your skin look too pale. - wn******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresAug 12, 2024
The brightening effect is definitely noticeable. I use it before makeup, but it's also good enough to wear on its own for a foundation-free look. The mint color is great for correcting redness in the complexion, and it gives a subtle glow. You need to be careful with the amount you apply. It's slightly rich, so if you use too much, it feels like it breaks down quickly. These days, sunscreens are coming out so well, almost like hydrating serums, so this doesn't feel particularly special. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than combination to oily skin types. - ra********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresJun 17, 2024
Evens skin tone well, easy to use, doesn't rub off easily, and doesn't seem to pill Not sure if it's good or bad... I keep getting blemishes, but I'm not certain if it's because of this product. They didn't appear when I wasn't using it, but it's not an immediate effect, so I can't be sure. It does cause a tingling sensation in my eyes though - a2****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 12, 2024
I tried the Cell Fusion C sunscreen and loved its fresh finish, so I had high hopes for their tone-up sun base too. And wow, it's perfect for my skin, just as I expected! Recently, I've been dealing with some heat sensitivity and blemishes, which left my face looking a bit flushed. But this green sun base does an amazing job of neutralizing the redness while naturally brightening my complexion. It brightens my skin tone without looking cakey, giving a natural finish. It adheres well to the skin, keeping it smooth without any shine. I love how it has a powdery finish, making it perfect for summer use - it's lightweight and comfortable, never feeling heavy or uncomfortable. This is definitely going to be my summer essential for keeping cool and fresh! The tube is quite soft, so if you're not careful, you might squeeze out too much product. But as long as you're mindful of that, the product itself is fantastic!
