  Pros

  I only used it for a day, but I loved how well it drew out sebum.

  Cons

  After using this, I broke out in a ton of tiny blemishes like my skin had turned inside out. It was so bad that I only used it once and now it's just sitting unused.

  It's great for controlling excess oil production. Just make sure to take care of any blackheads and you should be good to go.

  As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, this product completely irritated my skin. I wouldn't recommend it if you have sensitive skin.

  Pros

  It's great for exfoliating dead skin cells, leaving my face smooth like baby skin after use. It removes makeup cleanly and is excellent at extracting blackheads, making it ideal for gentle sebum control with minimal irritation! Plus, there's no eye stinging, so it effectively removes even eye makeup on days when I wear it.

  Cons

  After using it, the skin around my nose reacted badly, so I thought it might not suit me. Fortunately, it became okay when I used it while taking prescribed medication from the dermatologist. I felt itchy around my nose after using the cleansing balm, and upon research, I found that some skin types just don't match well with cleansing balms! If you have super sensitive skin or are prone to irritation, I recommend considering carefully before purchasing. Still, I find it so effective for cleansing and sebum control that I want to continue using it, even if I need to take sebum regulators.

  Make sure to emulsify it with water! It's so good!

  Pros

  I have combination dehydrated skin with a dry T-zone, occasional closed comedones, and sometimes cystic acne! My skin tone is 21. I used to use Bioderma cleansing water, but I was worried that wiping with cotton pads every time might irritate my skin, so I decided to try a cleansing balm. First off, I think it has better cleansing effectiveness than the cleansing water, and as I hoped, it's less irritating, which is great! While it stings my eyes a bit, it's powerful enough to remove even mascara. I also definitely felt like it cleared out my pores, leaving my skin feeling smooth. Plus, the amount is generous, so I think it'll last me for several months!

  Cons

  I changed several skincare products at once, so I'm not sure if it was because of the cleansing balm, but during use, my skin became super sensitive and broke out. After visiting a dermatologist, they recommended a cleansing milk, so I switched to that instead. The cleansing balm product itself was good though.

  Tip

  If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, using a cleansing balm every day might be too much. I'd recommend using it occasionally, especially when you've worn heavy makeup.
