Texture: I thought it would be a thick, petroleum jelly-like consistency, but it's actually quite solid. When you rub it with your hands, it melts with your body heat, transforming into a multi-purpose balm! 2. Ingredients: What caught my eye was shea butter as the second ingredient! It creates a protective layer on the face, preventing moisture loss from the skin. I was thrilled to see shea butter so high up on the ingredient list! Overall, the ingredients are mostly natural, so if you're ingredient-conscious, this might be a better choice than petroleum-based products. 3. Application: It feels like it's wrapping your skin in a light oil layer without being heavy. It's perfect for when you want to care for dry areas but don't want the stickiness of petroleum jelly. The hydration lasts long, making it great for dry skin types to apply liberally on any areas with dead skin cells. 4. Scent: The aroma is very therapeutic, giving a sense of relaxation. Applying it under your nose before bed might even help with mental relaxation.
ConsBecause the texture is firm, it only applies thinly when rubbed with fingers. This makes it difficult to apply a thick layer. It would have been better if it came with a silicone brush or built-in spatula! As for the price, well... it's naturally more expensive than petroleum jelly (just look at the ingredients...).
TipI'm not just using it as a lip balm, but also for nail care! If you apply this daily to the skin around your fingernails and toenails where it tends to get white and dry, they become beautifully smooth and glossy. It's great for moisturizing any dry spots all over your body! It's also good as a highlighter when gently applied to the cheekbones.

Scent: It smells just like tiger balm! It reminds me of the green Burt's Bees balm I used to use - very similar fragrance. Texture: It has a very firm consistency. Much harder than petroleum jelly! You'll need to gently melt it with your fingertips or use a spatula to scoop it out. Effectiveness: I have extremely dry lips and use lip balm year-round, even in summer. Regular lip balms don't cut it for me, so I've been using aloe balm. This product can be used all over, and it's supposed to be moisturizing, so I tried it on my lips. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do much for my lips. However, I found it to be more effective for soothing than moisturizing! To test its soothing properties, I applied it to a popped pimple. The first photo shows right after application, and the second is about a day later. Even without reapplying, it calmed down significantly. The redness decreased, and most importantly, there was no pain when touched! At this rate, it should heal without scarring in a few days. The soothing effect is truly impressive!
ConsI wish it came with a built-in spatula. Using fingers is inconvenient due to the deep jar design, and it's not very hygienic either.

Skin type: I have skin with redness and dryness on the cheek area. <Both photos were taken after applying Nutcerin> Advantages: - Provides excellent hydration☆ My cheeks are extremely dry, but after applying this, I didn't feel dry all day. It doesn't absorb immediately but creates a protective layer on the face like Vaseline. It's really great for dry skin. Good good!!! (As you can see in the photo, it provides such good hydration that your face looks dewy.) - Portable When I received the product, it was smaller and lighter than I expected. I didn't need to transfer it to a smaller container to carry it around comfortably. - Doesn't cause blemishes☆ A common drawback of cosmetics similar to Vas*line is that they can clog pores and cause blemishes, but this product didn't cause any! I plan to repurchase! - Decent application I don't particularly like Vas*line because it's thick and sticky, making it hard to spread, but this product is less thick and melts smoothly onto the skin. - Doesn't cause sunscreen to pill When I apply sunscreen after putting Nutcerin on my cheeks, the sunscreen doesn't pill like dead skin cells.
Cons- Small amount for the price - Lacks a spatula For this type of balm product, it's easy for dust to get in as you use it. I wish it came with a spatula.
Tip- Pro tip If you're concerned about your face looking too dewy, try mixing a small amount of Nutcerin with your emulsion when applying. This way, you'll get less shine while still maintaining hydration. Great! Overall impression: - As someone whose cheeks get extremely dry in winter, I personally really like this product. Recommended for redness and dryness. I plan to repurchase.☆
