For dry skin with closed comedones I bought this based on YouTube recommendations for pore care products. Worried that 10% niacinamide might be too harsh, I started with the 5% from the same line and was extremely satisfied. Though it has a runny texture, it becomes delightfully bouncy when applied. In the mornings, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin's condition - it looked brighter and my pores appeared more refined. I also felt like I had fewer closed comedones popping up, which was great. After finishing the 5%, I purchased the 10% version. It has a slightly paler pink color. I was concerned it might be irritating, but it wasn't at all and felt similar to the 5%. If you're new to niacinamide, start with the 5%. If you don't have sensitive skin or have used it before, you can go straight for the 10%. While I occasionally get cystic acne, closed comedones are my main concern. This product doesn't help with cystic breakouts. There's nothing I dislike about it, but it is a bit pricey. I'd recommend stocking up during Olive Young's big sales. This product works hard to improve your complexion and even out skin tone. It absorbs well without feeling sticky, making it great for layering in your skincare routine. For those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, this could be a game-changer in your quest for that coveted inner glow. The texture is perfect - not too thin, not too thick, just right! It feels firm and elastic when applied. It absorbs incredibly well and has brightening effects too! If you use it consistently for about 2 weeks, you'll definitely notice your skin becoming brighter! Remember, consistency is key with any skincare product! If you have oily skin and prefer very lightweight formulas, this might not be for you. Also, those with oily skin should be careful not to layer too much product on top, as it might actually increase oil production. As someone with oily skin, I've found that layering too many products before makeup can cause it to slide off or pill. Instead, I keep it light - I use this serum after evening out my skin tone with toner or a pad. 색소침착에 이렇게 1회만에 효과를 본 제품은 처음임!!!! 진짜 혁명이야.... ㅠㅠ 장점 - 코밑이랑 볼 옆쪽에 여드름이 나서 압출하고 연고 며칠바르다가 스카힐골드 발라서 붉은기 좀 없애주려고 했을때 그거 안바르고 이 제품 발라봄. 근데 1회만에 붉은기가 엄청나게 가라앉음. 늘 염증성 여드름이나 압출 후 관리를 제대로 못해줘서 붉은기가 진하게 남아서 안없어지거나 금방없어진적이 별로 없었는데 이건 붉은기가 금방 가라앉음. 인생템임. 다음 올영세일때 무조건 쟁일거임 단점 -냄새가 사알짝 구리다는거..? 근데 그다지 강하지도 않고 퍄바르다보면 없어져서 신경쓰일 정도는 아님. 제형은 되게 물같은데 펴바르면 살짝 끈적?함. 어차피 난 위에 다른 크림 발라줘서 상관없긴함 - je********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 27, 2025
It absorbs well and applies smoothly - there's nothing to complain about in terms of how it feels on the skin. The only thing is that after applying it all, you might feel a slight residue on your hands, but it's not noticeable once you follow up with your moisturizer. I've only been using it consistently for about a month, so I haven't noticed any downsides yet.

I'd recommend this to those looking to treat blemishes, but it's probably best avoided by those with super sensitive skin since it shouldn't be used when you have active breakouts. Usage period: 2 weeks Application: Initially applies smoothly, but over time it becomes extremely sticky! Particularly uncomfortable when applied under the eyes and sticks to eyelashes. Absorption: Due to the stickiness, it's hard to tell if it absorbs well. However, when applied before bed and washed off in the morning, skin feels incredibly hydrated. Verdict: As someone with very dry skin, I apply this after my regular moisturizer or slather it on thickly before bed. If it weren't for the stickiness, it would be quite good. As for brightening effects... I'm not really sure. I used this product along with a peach serum, and in comparison, the lingering stickiness is quite bothersome. It tends to get tangled in your hair... your eyes stick together... and if you touch your face, your hands become sticky too. If it weren't for the stickiness, it would be perfect. I really liked this product because the niacinamide ingredient worked well for my skin. However, those trying niacinamide for the first time might experience slight irritation. I've been using this for about 3 weeks now. Product photo / Photo with product applied / Skin condition before application / Skin and makeup after application The absorption is quite good, and it doesn't leave a sticky residue after it's absorbed. The texture seems to be on the thinner side. It applies smoothly, and after use, there's a slight brightening effect on the complexion. The unevenness in my skin texture has noticeably improved. Possibly due to the high concentration of niacinamide, there's an overall tingling sensation. When it touches any broken skin, the burning sensation is almost as intense as applying alcohol.
