Considering it's sold at Daiso, the product quality offers excellent value for money. As soon as you open it, a pleasant scent wafts out, making it a great choice for fragrance enthusiasts. It melts easily in warm temperatures, leading to significant residue around the container, so it might not be practical to carry in your pocket. Also, as someone with a light undertone, I found the color wasn't particularly bright and didn't suit me well. I'd recommend this for those with cool winter undertones or light undertones. - al*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 23, 2025
You can buy it cheaply at Daiso, so the value for money is truly excellent Its use is a bit ambiguous. It's too sticky to use as a glow lip product, and too dry to use as a lip balm... that kind of awkwardness - te************Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2024
This product is a real bang for your buck, and it's worth buying even at twice the price. It has a muted rose color that suits warm tones better than cool ones, and the texture is closer to matte than moisturizing. It's fragrance-free, which is great for your health, and I highly recommend it, especially since we should be mindful of ingredients in lip products. The downside is that it leans more warm-toned, which makes it look a bit dull on me. Most Koreans have cool or neutral undertones, so I wish the color had a cooler tone to it. At night, if you dab it on your fingers and gently rub it on your cheeks, it makes for a beautiful blush color. - kk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedNov 15, 2024
Natural color that doesn't clash when applied over tints. Great value for the price. Don't expect a rich, ultra-moisturizing lip balm. It's not very hydrating and the effects don't last long. - qh******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 15, 2024
I liked that this color lip balm doesn't have that typical lightweight feel that often doesn't suit me. It's pleasantly moisturizing and offers great value for money. It was also easy to find. The shade is like a dried rose color with a hint of pink or plum, making it suitable for cool skin tones too. The formula is a bit soft, so it tends to smudge. Apart from that, I have no complaints about the price, product, or color. I just hope it doesn't get discontinued. - sm*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 9, 2024
Being a color balm, I was impressed by its intense pigmentation right off the bat. The more I applied, the clearer the color became, and I'm very satisfied that there's no staining, so the color doesn't get muddy. I'm really enjoying using it! True to its name, it's a deep plum color with a slight muted tone, making it perfectly on-trend right now, which I love even more. To be honest, I didn't really feel much of a moisturizing effect. I think this product might be focusing more on being a color lip product rather than fulfilling the role of a lip balm. - dd*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRednessRecommendedJul 21, 2024
First off, it's great value for money! Being a Daiso product, it's only 3000 won. I tested different shades and found this one to be the most natural-looking, so I bought it and I'm really satisfied! It's not greasy but keeps my lips hydrated. There's also a sweet scent that lifts my mood when I apply it! My lips are naturally very pale, so it's perfect for touching up after meals. I love that I only need to carry this one product around! The downside is that it's often out of stock in stores, so it's difficult to buy extras even though I'd love to stock up. But overall, I'm very happy with this lip balm! - ma*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 24, 2024
1. The color is beautiful. Unless you're extremely warm or cool-toned, this shade would suit almost everyone. It's a truly neutral mauve color, like mauve with just a tiny drop of coral red mixed in. 2. No staining. While some might see the lack of staining as a drawback, for a lip balm that you just slather on carelessly, it's actually a plus! I personally think lip products that stain can make your lip color too intense and unattractive. So, the absence of staining is actually an advantage in my book. 3. The price. They've lost their minds with this pricing... In this era of high inflation, a tinted lip balm for just $3? A'pieu... are they gods? Daiso... are they geniuses? 1. Emphasizes dead skin cells. To be honest, you can feel the hydration the moment you apply it. But the way it highlights flaky skin is... well, after applying this, it feels like it actually makes your dead skin cells more noticeable. I've included a photo showing the emphasized flakiness at the end. Even though it's a bit out of focus, you can still see how bad it is! You know what? Try lining your lips with that Daiso lip pencil in Cool Pink, then swipe this on and press your lips together. Your lips will look absolutely gorgeous. By the way, the swatch on my hand has been adjusted to show the most accurate color representation possible! - dd******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 30, 2024
Great accessibility with this Daiso product. At just 3,000 won, it's budget-friendly. Overall, it's decent. The moisturizing effect isn't particularly noticeable. The applicator isn't angled, making it a bit inconvenient to apply. The product tends to stick to the container. - su*********Oily SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedMay 24, 2024
I rarely repurchase the same type of lip balm, but this one was an exception. 1. Accessibility Daiso stores are everywhere, making it super convenient to grab one. 2. Value for money At just 3000 won, it's affordable enough to try on a whim. 3. Perfect color payoff I was looking for something with a subtle tint, as full-on lipsticks can be a bit much. This hits the sweet spot I was after. 4. Hydration My lips used to be so dry that I was constantly picking at them. Since using this, that's rarely an issue anymore. There's no major downside, but being a tinted balm with a softer texture, it does leave a bit of color residue on the container each time you use it. Nothing a quick wipe can't fix though.
