I've been using it consistently since its launch. It provides a subtle tone-up effect without being excessive, and seems to slightly minimize the appearance of pores. It doesn't pill and becomes more natural-looking over time, maintaining that effect for long. It's great on its own or as a primer before makeup. On days when my skin isn't at its best, I do feel a slight tingling sensation after application, but it hasn't caused any blemishes.
ConsThe sunscreen's texture starts off smooth but gradually becomes more matte. I usually apply it all over and then add an extra layer on my cheeks. However, if you try to reapply after the first layer has set, it tends to clump. It also gets caught in finger creases, which can lead to pilling if not wiped off before reapplication. To avoid this, I've found that applying the first layer, cleaning my hands, and immediately following with a second layer keeps it smooth and radiant.
TipThis sunscreen might feel a bit rich for oily skin in summer and potentially drying for dry skin in winter. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I find it perfect when I use powder on my T-zone in summer, and layer it over a moisturizer in winter.

The texture feels rich when applying, but once it's fully absorbed, it settles into a matte finish that just sinks right in! I have oily skin, and usually after a few hours of wearing makeup, the oil starts to creep up. But with this brightening moisturizer, I stay shine-free from morning till night! It's amazing! The complexion-evening effect is truly top-notch. When you apply makeup over this, you look absolutely radiant. It's so good that you can just wear this alone when you go out. I'm extremely satisfied with it. I've also tried the similar, more expensive Dalba sunscreen, but honestly, this feels just as good. The ingredients list doesn't have anything particularly concerning, and I've been using it for over a week with no blemishes or skin issues. As someone who's always been on the hunt for the perfect brightening moisturizer with SPF, I think I might have found my holy grail!
ConsBecause it's matte, it might be too drying for those with super sensitive skin. There's a bit of pore-clogging, but most brightening moisturizers with SPF tend to do that to some degree, so I think this level is acceptable.
TipSince it's matte, if you have dry skin, it might make your face feel tight and potentially flaky. What worked for me was applying a generous amount of hydrating moisturizer before the sunscreen, letting it absorb fully, and then applying this product. That combination was perfect!

It provides about a half-shade brightening effect, which isn't too intense, making it perfect as a base before makeup without feeling overwhelming. The color-correcting effect is also just right. The matte finish makes me think it would suit those with oily or combination dehydrated skin well! However, if you have dry skin, it might feel a bit drying, so I recommend prepping your skin with a good moisturizing routine. When I applied this product after thoroughly hydrating my skin, I could see a subtle Inner Glow coming through thanks to that base. We all know sun protection is essential year-round, not just for the face but also for exposed areas like the neck and hands! You can apply this to exposed body parts for non-sticky sun protection. Especially for the neck, which is often more yellow and darker than the face, I recommend applying it there! It brightens about half a shade and has a color-correcting effect. It doesn't transfer much to clothes, and since it's not yellowish like foundation, even if it does get on your clothes, it's less embarrassing...haha. I tried dripping water on areas where I applied the product! When I rubbed it, it did dissolve slightly in water. So during sweaty summers or water activities, you might want to reapply more carefully. Overall, it didn't cause any blemishes, didn't irritate my eyes, spread smoothly, and was a generally satisfying sunscreen!
ConsHmm, I wouldn't call it a downside per se, but... When I applied makeup over this product... How should I put it? While the product itself has a matte finish, when you pat it with a puff, there's a slight bouncy texture? If that makes sense? But for some reason, it didn't seem to play well with my foundation or puff. When I roughly applied foundation and tried to blend it with a puff, it set quickly, making it hard to spread the foundation evenly, and it even pilled a bit around the nose area... Though this could just be due to my lack of technique!

It didn't look ashy even when applied up to my neck! It goes on smoothly at first, and I like that it has high sun protection and a purple tint. So, not bad...?
ConsAs time passes, the hydration evaporates and it becomes matte, making it look a bit patchy on the skin.
TipI think it'll work well if you have a solid skincare routine as a base!

ConsAs someone with combination skin, I prefer matte and powdery products. However, this one absorbs smoothly but feels rich and slightly sticky. So, I finish with powder after application.
TipApply in thin layers, multiple times.

Hybrid sunscreen formula: I believe the advantage of hybrid sunscreens lies in combining the best properties of both mineral and chemical filters. These hybrid formulas typically absorb well, provide hydration, offer long-lasting protection, and give a slight brightening effect, which I prefer. The Unique sunscreen also boasts these benefits. 2. Brightening effect: Being a hybrid sunscreen, it naturally provides a tone-evening effect. Notably, its purple tint helps brighten yellow-toned skin. Those with naturally yellow or darker complexions will definitely notice a significant improvement in their skin tone.
ConsThere aren't any particular drawbacks. The matte finish might feel a bit drying for those with super sensitive skin... perhaps?

I had settled on Skin**** as my go-to tone-up sunscreen that didn't clog pores or emphasize flaky skin, but this one has an even lighter finish that I love, so it might become my new staple. *Smooth and light application: It's really tough when sunscreens are thick, but this one applies almost as lightly as a purely organic sunscreen! It's hard to believe it's a hybrid formula given its texture. *Semi-matte finish: While it applies smoothly, it dries to a semi-matte, fresh feel. It would be absolutely perfect for summer use, and I'd recommend it even for those with dry skin (perhaps not extremely dry, but generally dry skin types). It's not as matte as thicker tone-up sunscreens, but has a light, powdery finish. *Complexion enhancement: When applied, it brightens your overall complexion and adds a subtle glow. It's definitely not an oily shine, but a soft radiance that's quite flattering. However, it doesn't cover blemishes, so it might be challenging to use alone. It works great as a makeup base.
ConsOne slight drawback is that while it finishes semi-matte, oil does come through over time...! This tends to happen with most tone-up sunscreens, so finishing with powder helps. Also, keep in mind that while it evens out your overall skin tone, it doesn't conceal specific blemishes.
TipWhen using this product on its own, be sure to finish with powder for best results!

It's versatile enough to use under makeup or on its own for a natural glow. It absorbs well with a moisturizing feel, and seems suitable for all skin types.
ConsDue to its semi-matte finish, applying too much can lead to some pilling or uneven application.
TipFor best results, pat the product onto your skin instead of rubbing it in. This reduces pilling and helps it sit better under makeup. Rather than applying a lot at once, try layering small amounts for a smoother application.

Unlike some products that make your face look unnaturally pale, this one gives a natural, radiant complexion! +Texture: ☆☆☆☆ (4 stars) : It feels moisturizing when applied, but quickly sets to a matte finish that adheres well to the skin. +Design: ☆☆☆☆☆ (5 stars) : Compact size. Easy to carry around, and the twist-cap design prevents any leakage! +Coverage: ☆☆☆☆ (4 stars) : Seems to cover both yellow and red undertones pretty well!
ConsTexture: It quickly becomes semi-matte(?), which can feel slightly drying. But it's not a deal-breaker!
TipI recommend applying this after establishing a solid skincare routine.

And there was no irritation on my skin!
ConsSince the product has a matte finish, it can be a bit challenging to apply when your skin is very dry
