With inflation affecting hair dye prices, even discounted options aren't cheap these days. I used to use Fresh Light quite often, but it's harder to find in offline stores now. I bought this in November after dyeing my hair black to cover damage, but I got bored with it. I was a bit nervous since I couldn't remember how the color turned out when I used it years ago. While there was a slight line where the black dye was, I was relieved it didn't turn out bright yellow. Instead, it's a toned-down light brown, like a soft wood color. I love how it's a subtle brown that doesn't look tacky. Foam dyes usually come with a lot of product, but the package looked small, so I'm glad I bought two. However, one bottle was more than enough for my shoulder-length hair. Being a light brown, it doesn't bleed much after the initial rinse, which is convenient. Other foam dyes often failed to color areas like sideburns, leaving them black and making me regret the purchase. But this product colored those areas well too. It doesn't drip like cream dyes, and it's easy to apply yourself. I'm really satisfied with how user-friendly it is for DIY coloring. The biggest drawback of this hair dye is that it stings my eyes. While my scalp only tingles slightly, my eyes get so irritated that I had to keep them closed during the application process.
