I bought it right away! Some tonics have that 'old man aftershave' smell, probably due to the menthol, but Sofel has a lovely fragrance. It feels refreshing when applied, and thanks to the rubber applicator, it absorbs as a foam. I love how it seems to be absorbed more evenly and thoroughly. Even if I apply too much, my hair doesn't get greasy. As a person who has used many tonics, I'm satisfied if it has a cooling effect, doesn't cause scalp blemishes, and doesn't make my hair look flat. Sofel meets all these criteria and absorbs nicely as a foam, which I really appreciate! The container is a bit disappointing. The rubber applicator... I'm not sure if it's meant to prevent too much product from coming out, but you need to press quite firmly, which can be a bit harsh on the scalp. Make sure to apply it evenly between the scalp after shampooing. I like to gently pat it in with my fingertips to help it absorb. After that, I blow-dry my hair.
