The affordable price is definitely a plus. As for the rest, I'm not quite sure yet. It's become a product I rarely use now. I only occasionally use it when washing my hats. - ha****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessJul 23, 2024
Dove's fragrance is always reliable. The lather is pretty decent too. I have an oily scalp. On days I use the shampoo from my dermatologist, it's fine, but when I use Dove, by evening my hair gets so greasy... sigh. - sh*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 26, 2024
The foam is dense and rich. After using it, my hair feels as smooth as if I've applied conditioner. It definitely leaves my hair feeling softer. Hair tends to get greasy quickly. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily scalps. - mi******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 10, 2024
Scalp type: Oily I wanted a nice-smelling shampoo, so I trusted Dove and bought this. I've only used Dove's beauty bar before, but I noticed they have many hair and body products. First off, true to Dove's reputation, it smells great. However, after rinsing and applying conditioner, the shampoo's scent is barely noticeable. The consistency is just right, not too thin, and it lathers up beautifully with a rich, creamy foam. It claims to improve hair breakage and cuticle roughness with vitamin C derivatives. While my hair does feel softer after use, it's hard to tell if the shampoo alone is making a significant difference in hair texture. I'd recommend this for people who don't have very oily scalps and those looking for a gentle shampoo. I wouldn't recommend this for those with oily scalps. I probably won't repurchase it.
