After cleansing with this, I feel a refreshing sensation that's different from other foam cleansers! It's amazing. The light gel texture makes it really great for summer use. It doesn't produce an abundance of foam. Also, it used to be really affordable when I bought it a long time ago, but the price has gone up. Nothing specific to add! It's always good to use, whether for morning or evening cleansing.

I bought this for its great ingredients, and I'm thrilled with the value! Not only is it affordable, but they even threw in a $10 lip balm for free. While I purchased it for my morning cleanse rather than makeup removal, I can't find a single flaw. It's absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend it! There are no downsides at all. It's just amazing. Don't hesitate, just buy it. It's the best! I'm careful about ingredients since I use this cleanser with my elementary school daughter. The ingredients pass the test. It seems unscented - a clear cleanser after a long time? My skin feels soft after rinsing. It was hydrating, and thanks for the gratis lip balm! *After a week of use: It's a thick gel type... because of its consistency, it doesn't lather much. The cleansing effectiveness seems decent. It's a bit difficult to squeeze out the product. Maybe because it's thick? Other than that, everything's good. The gentle ingredients are great, and I can use it for double cleansing without any irritation to my skin. It's working well for me! The opening seems a bit small, making it difficult to squeeze out the product. Apart from that, everything else is fine.

It's suitable for my sensitive and dry skin all year round. Hydration: Even after cleansing and rinsing, my skin feels moisturized without any tightness. It's gentle and light, perfect for everyday use! However, due to the dry weather lately, I use a cleansing gel in the morning and a combination of cleansing water and this foam at night. Despite its drawbacks, I still recommend this product mainly because of its ingredients! Most cleansing products (even those marketed as gentle) contain citric acid, which can be irritating for sensitive skin like mine. I finally found this product after searching for one without it. Packaging: Like Illumiel's cleansing gel, this foam is hard to squeeze out, requiring a lot of hand strength. This is definitely an area where some Illumiel products need improvement! Cleansing power: Using this foam alone isn't quite enough. For better results, I first remove lip and eye makeup with cleansing water, or use cleansing oil or gel to remove face makeup before double cleansing with this foam. Lather: It doesn't lather well. This is common for most low pH products, so it's not a big issue. However, when using the foam directly on bare skin, it feels like it's not adhering well - almost as if oil and water are separating on the skin. Mixing it with a tiny bit of water helps it stick to the skin better. If you wear light makeup, you can use this cleansing foam alone. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually stick to low pH cleansers. However, I've found they sometimes struggle to control occasional oiliness. So, I took a leap and decided to try an alkaline cleanser. I was thrilled to discover this product with its simple yet effective ingredient list. The affordable price was the cherry on top, so I thought, 'Why not give it a shot?' After just one day of use, I can confidently say it controls oil better than my low pH products! Being an alkaline product, it does leave my skin feeling more dry compared to low pH cleansers. I used it with plenty of lather. After cleansing, I felt my skin needed extra hydration, so I'd recommend following up with a more intensive skincare routine. It might be a bit harsh for daily use, so I'll probably stick to using it only in the evenings.
