Cosmetic ingredients are evolving to improve Vitamin C's stability and absorption. Its powerful antioxidant action inhibits the oxidation of tyrosine (an initial substance in melanin production) into melanin. It also reduces eumelanin (the dark brown oxidized form of melanin) to pheomelanin (a lighter reddish-yellow form), contributing to its skin-brightening effects.

The price is quite steep, so I'm unsure about repurchasing. I think it would be even better for managing hyperpigmentation and dark spots if it included ingredients like alpha-bisabolol or arbutin.

I've chosen to use a 23% oil-soluble Vitamin C serum because highly concentrated pure Vitamin C can be irritating and has many restrictions on what you can use with it, like retinol or chemical exfoliants. The advantage is that there's no irritation or burning sensation when applying. Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, being a lipid-soluble precursor to L-Ascorbic acid, can reportedly penetrate cell membranes in a stable form and convert to Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic acid) by enzymes in the skin. Its silky emulsion texture absorbs well, making it suitable for oily and combination dehydrated skin types. The addition of glutathione boosts its antioxidant properties, making it perfect for consistent use when pure Vitamin C isn't an option. I'm thrilled with how quickly it brightened my complexion.

I think the only downside is the price. It would be great if it could be a bit lower.

I tried this product because it's an antioxidant serum containing vitamin C and glutathione, which I thought might help with blemishes and dull complexion.

As I've entered my late 30s and 40s, I've noticed that my skin's ability to regenerate seems to be declining, and blemishes don't fade as easily. To increase Vitamin C absorption, apply it as the first step after cleansing. Wait 30 minutes before applying other skincare products. If you're going to be exposed to sunlight after application, be sure to use sunscreen to prevent oxidation of the vitamin.

The high price is probably the biggest drawback. With only 30ml, it's on the smaller side, which makes it costly for regular use. I'll likely use it occasionally for intensive care.

If you're expecting significant whitening or spot treatment effects, you might be disappointed. I didn't notice any particular improvements in these areas.
