The only notable feature is that it exfoliates just by applying it... Nothing else stands out. Even though I don't have sensitive skin, it causes intense redness, tingling, and irritation. - 19********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMar 11, 2025
I bought this after contemplating for months, but it caused blemishes around my mouth, skin rashes, tingling, redness like a burn, and dead skin cells. The redness hasn't subsided for weeks. Even applying soothing/hydrating products and regenerating creams hasn't helped. While it might work for some, I can't recommend it. They seem to be good at marketing though. After using it just once with these results, I can't even give it to a friend for fear of causing them blemishes too. I'm planning to sell it on a secondhand marketplace. - sb***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
✓ The skin-soothing effect is top-notch! I have sensitive combination skin that breaks out easily with the wrong mask, but this one calms my skin without any irritation. After applying the mask, I can feel the heat in my face dissipating completely! ✓ To achieve that glass glow, complete all the steps and finish with the Epic Radiant cream... Wow, it makes your skin look so plump! My face brightens up and feels rejuvenated from within - I'm extremely satisfied. ✓ Consistent use maintains skin condition. It's not just a one-time thing; with regular use, you'll notice improved skin texture and balanced oil-moisture levels, making makeup application much smoother. ✓ The price is wicked. To be honest, following this entire routine can be quite expensive... But the results are so evident that I just close my eyes and use it anyway. ✓ It's time-consuming. Going through steps 1, 2, 3, then gua sha rolling, 20-minute mask, and finishing with cream takes quite a while. However, it's a necessary sacrifice for beautiful skin! ✓ Gua sha rolling is a must! Compared to just using the mask, adding gua sha rolling improves skin tone and provides a more noticeable lifting effect! ✓ Be generous with the Epic Radiant cream! Applying it liberally in the final cream step ensures long-lasting hydration. Your skin will still feel moisturized the next morning. - rl********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJan 25, 2025
For dry, sensitive skin types. When applied generously without fully absorbing, it does seem to give an immediate glow. However, after morning cleansing, the effect is less noticeable. It causes an immediate stinging sensation upon application, though it does calm down after about 5 minutes. Like other reviews mentioned, it oddly causes dead skin cells to form around the lips (above and below). Despite trying various lip balms and moisturizers, the condition didn't improve. It only started to clear up several months after discontinuing use of the product. - so******Dry SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresJan 20, 2025
The other creams in the line might be okay. After experiencing this, I've become more cautious. It seems to work for people whose skin agrees with it. While it gives a glow, it causes eye irritation and my skin became sensitive, possibly due to an allergic reaction, and deteriorated. I followed the Tom Program's official guide video for the amount and order of application, but my skin became irritated, red, swollen, and itchy, so I had to wash it off after enduring for a while. Afterwards, I continued to feel stinging and itching simultaneously. After about two days, the areas that were particularly affected became dry, flaky, and started peeling off. It's especially bad around the mouth, chin, and the sides of the eyes. I also applied it under the chin since there was some left, and both sides became red. Strangely, I can't find any mention of these symptoms anywhere except on the Hwahae app. If I had seen that, I would have reconsidered buying it. There's no information on how to deal with this either. It's frustrating that I bought two full sets that don't suit me. I might have to use Step 1 only on my nose. Since cosmetics may not suit everyone, it's recommended to perform an allergy test before use. - lm*********Oily SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDec 12, 2024
Don't fall for the hype and advertising. This product has absolutely no effect. You'd be better off using another product with good reviews. I can't even list any positive points because it's so ineffective. There are too many disappointing aspects. It feels like a scam. They claim to have invested 2 billion won or so in development, but it doesn't show at all. It seems the product is expensive due to excessive spending on packaging and advertising, not quality. The CEO's mindset appeared sincere and honest, which is why I was tempted to buy it. But now, I feel betrayed. It's so exaggerated that I'm blaming myself for being gullible enough to believe it. I'm not from a competing company, just a real customer who spent their own money. I'm speaking up for those who might be hesitant to be honest because of the promise of free refills for life. There are plenty of other good products out there, just use those instead. P.S. You can achieve that level of glow just by using a mask. There's also a slight eye irritation - this might vary depending on individual sensitivity and skin condition. (I have slightly sensitive skin.) - se*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 12, 2024
I love that I can adjust the amount with the pump. It's quite gentle for an exfoliator. It gives my face a nice glow and makes me feel like I'm getting a professional treatment. At first, I didn't notice any effect and wondered if it was really an exfoliator. The second time I used it, I felt a slight tingling sensation around my nose (it wasn't severe enough to make me want to wash it off, but depending on your skin condition or sensitivity, it could be more intense for some!). The price is quite steep. - he********Normal SkinOct 1, 2024
The small bumps under my chin seem to have improved a bit. I think it's more effective than physical exfoliation... I have steel-like skin that can handle anything, but this is too irritating. It stings and itches as soon as I apply it. I've used it twice so far, about ten days apart, and the next day when I went to work with makeup on, the skin around my mouth was peeling off like a snake shedding its skin... - ci********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedAug 3, 2024
Unlike other peeling products that can cause stinging or redness, this one is incredibly gentle! It applies smoothly and takes just 2 minutes to work its magic. You'll feel like you've had a professional facial in no time! After using this kit, there's no need for expensive spa treatments - you can easily achieve that coveted glow at home. Just 15 minutes, twice a week is all it takes for radiant skin! Your makeup applies beautifully the next day too, with a luminosity that truly comes from within. The container looks large, but the amount of product inside is quite small, so it might run out quickly. It's difficult to purchase individual items outside of the kit. You won't see results after just one use. Consistent use is necessary to maintain that Inner Glow. Be sure to use the brush to apply the product evenly in hard-to-reach areas like the sides of your nose! Even areas with dead skin cells or excess oil become smooth after treatment! - 28*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRednessJul 20, 2024
I was searching for Ulthera treatments at dermatology clinics when I stumbled upon an article claiming that popular actresses these days maintain their skin with Tom Lem. Intrigued, I checked out Tom's Naver cafe (it's hard not to be tempted after reading about Tom's origin story on the cafe). Here's my review after using it once a week for 2 weeks total (I plan to update after 6+ weeks of use). It's difficult to objectively assess the product's effectiveness at this point. The best advantage seems to be that you can complete all steps from start to finish without washing off in between. While they advertise salon-like results for just 15,000 won in 15 minutes: First - The cost per use can't actually be 15,000 won. A set of 6 sheet masks alone is 79,200 won = 13,200 won each. Steps 1, 2, 3 plus one set of masks costs 189,000 won. It claims 12-15 uses are possible, but that's hard to verify. A rough calculation shows it definitely exceeds 20,000 won per use. (I spent about 400,000 won for 2 sets of masks (12 total) and a gua sha tool) Second - There's no dramatic change as advertised. Third - With various events requiring reviews, it's really hard to be 100% honest! They excel at advertising and marketing. While they emphasize affordability, it's absolutely not cheap. If it truly gave such dramatic results, I'd use it even if it were more expensive, but that's not the case. --- Additional update --- After 15 weeks: As expected, there are no dramatic effects as advertised. It's basically a system of exfoliation, applying moisturizer, and using a mask. I'm seriously into skincare basics (trying different skincare products is my hobby). Looking at the 'after one use' reviews on their website, it's hard not to be tempted. As someone who's tried everything from SK-II to Nu Skin 180, Phytomer, Incellderm, and Yok serum since my 20s, I've learned there's no cosmetic product that gives dramatic changes. (Yet why do I still fall for it? Honestly, there was one product that dramatically improved my skin's glow, but with long-term use it made my skin much drier...) The basics for good skin: 1. Exfoliation using AHA, BHA, PHA, or retinol products that suit you 2. Hydration and moisture management 3. Sunscreen Consistent daily care is fundamental!
