It's not too runny, which is great! Seems like it would be easy to apply generously.

I rushed to the store when I heard my holy grail Calendula Skin had come out as an emulsion. After an impulsive purchase, I received an emulsion sample as gratis. When I tried it, I felt a tingling sensation. 

I was having second thoughts, and while the full-size product was on backorder, I considered canceling my order based on the sample. But when I shared my concerns on the day I received the full product, I got an explanation.

They said that since they made the Calendula Skin into an emulsion, it's packed with hydration. The tingling sensation when applied means your skin is dehydrated - it's like suddenly watering parched earth. They advised using a small amount and said it would be fine after a few days. I did just that, and now I'm using it wonderfully. On lazy skincare days, I just use the Calendula Skin and emulsion before bed. That's how comfortable it makes my skin feel.

It absorbs really well and is so hydrating that I've put my hydrating serums and ampoules in the giveaway basket and just use this emulsion. For morning makeup, I sometimes finish with sunscreen right after the emulsion. The feel on the skin is amazing, and these days I'm living a life free from redness.

When I use this alone, my skin tingles. Especially around my eyes and cheeks, there's a burning sensation. I have to use a tiny amount, or if I apply too much, I need to wash my face again.

It's moisturizing and has a lovely fragrance. The texture feels fresh without leaving any greasy residue.

I haven't found any downsides to this product yet. If I discover any, I'll be sure to add them later.

After applying it, my skin feels like it's protected by a thin barrier, and it helps soothe the irritation caused by the intense sunlight these days. I haven't experienced any breakouts while using this product, so I'd recommend it to those with sensitive, dry skin!
