The texture is like a typical lightweight hydrating cream with almost no rich feeling! Due to its niacinamide content, I'd recommend it for summer use and oily skin types. As a result, it might feel less hydrating and moisturizing (since niacinamide helps reduce oil and sebum). While the 'oil control' name is fitting, I didn't notice any particular soothing effects. Without any standout features, I probably won't repurchase. It's neither a calming cream nor a barrier cream, so it's a bit drying as a regular moisturizer step even for oily skin. I ended up using it mainly on my chin and forehead. Since I usually use creams with good barrier protection and hydration as the final skincare step, this one felt a bit out of place. Also, niacinamide is often applied separately, so it's not really necessary here. Personally, I prefer creams that strengthen the skin barrier or help with soothing. I was very satisfied with the cica cream from the same brand as a hydrating moisturizer.
ConsThe downsides are mentioned above. Overall, it seems unclear for which season it's best suited, and its role in a skincare routine is a bit ambiguous.
TipIt felt nice and moisturizing when applied to areas with more oil!
