For sensitive skin / redness / combination dehydrated skin I tried a sample of Red Peel before buying the full size. As I have sensitive skin, I was worried, but even though there was a slight tingling sensation, the next day my skin felt more refined and brighter. At that time, my skin felt a bit congested + I had some blemishes After using the Red Peel serum along with the Wellage Hyaluronic Acid ampoule, the congested feeling seemed to disappear. The next day, my blemishes had subsided and my redness also seemed to have calmed down. After using it 2-3 more times, I ordered the full-size product and have been using it since. I've tried Real Shot too, but for me, the Red Peel Spicule Serum worked better. Still, I'm also using Real Shot 50, 100, and other Real Shot products from Daiso alongside it. Although the website says it's okay to use daily, since I have sensitive skin, I'm only using it every other day as I'm concerned daily use might lead to cumulative irritation. I'm using it because it's more effective than Real Shot, but now I'm using them in combination. I use the Red Peel Spicule Serum twice a week, Real Shot once a week, and in between I focus on soothing my skin + managing hydration and moisture. If you have sensitive skin, it's said that applying a hydrating toner before the serum can reduce irritation compared to applying the spicule directly. Also, be careful not to get it in your eyes. - af******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 21, 2024
While I haven't used it for long, based on my experience, the level of sensation suggests it could potentially be effective. Just like dermatological laser treatments that burn and regenerate the skin, I believe this serum employs a similar method, albeit with a different device. As a result, you might experience some redness, and your skin may need time to regenerate. The intensity of redness likely depends on your skin type. When applied, there's a certain level of tingling, similar to other needle products. You might experience redness for 1-2 days. In my case, my entire face didn't turn red, but some areas that I lightly touched became slightly flushed. Although it's labeled for daily use, you should adjust the frequency based on your skin type. For these reasons, it might not be suitable for those with extremely sensitive skin. Try using it in the evening, once every 2-3 days for the first week, then progress to nightly use from the second week onwards. Your skin may need time to adapt! - ch*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDec 8, 2024
I felt a tingling sensation when I used this, which I thought was strange. But after talking to a friend, I learned that's actually how this product is supposed to work! Apparently, it's similar to the principle behind dermatological treatments. I was clueless before! Interestingly, I didn't notice at first, but for a while after using it, I didn't get any blemishes and even received compliments on my skin. I'm not sure if it was entirely due to this product, but it does have lifting and functional properties. - I'm not really sure about this one. I used a sample, but it was so tingly that I only used it once and stopped. Apparently, this is how functional products like this are supposed to work... I had never used a product like this before, so I didn't know, but I saw someone with sensitive skin using it for skincare. I didn't experience any breakouts, and I heard the concentration is high. Judging by how it stimulates the skin, I think it must be doing something. - What on earth is this? Are there tiny needles in it or something? It feels like needles are pricking my skin along the path where I apply it. It's not just a simple tingling - it's like sparks are flying, with needles rapidly touching and passing over my skin. I'm actually opening the Hwahae app just to leave this review. The sensation is comparable to getting an eyebrow tattoo. But the fact that this happens along every line where I apply it... How is this even possible? - ja******Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsNov 17, 2024
It's deeply hydrating. Leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I only used a sample, so I can't say much more. It stings too much. It felt like rolling tiny needles all over my face. I guess there must be some ingredients that don't agree with my skin.
