I've been using this for over a month, and when I apply it as the final layer in my ampoule routine, my skin feels incredibly soft the next day! I highly recommend using it in the evening, and it's such great value for money! I wish they would release a higher concentration version. It's a bit disappointing to keep using this low-concentration product. The reviewer seems to be discussing a skincare product, likely an ampoule or serum. They're very satisfied with its effects on skin texture and its affordability, but desire a more potent formulation for potentially better results. - al****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 1, 2025
Best bang for your buck retinol product Perfect concentration for retinol beginners I have combination dehydrated skin that's sensitive and prone to blemishes. Even using it every other day mixed with moisturizer, my skin still turns red - eb*******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 15, 2025
For just $5, you can enjoy the benefits of retinol... This alone is a "game-changer" While it's not the type of product that delivers dramatic results overnight, with consistent use, you'll notice improvements in your pores. Given the price point, I didn't have high expectations, but I was genuinely surprised to see actual results... The price is incredibly affordable, so I recommend giving it a try, even if just as an experiment. There aren't any... I tried to think of something to write, but personally, I didn't find any disappointing aspects with this product. If anything, I just hope they'll release a larger size in the future. This budget-friendly retinol product offers great value for money. While the effects are gradual, regular use can lead to visible improvements in pore appearance. Despite its low price, it delivers unexpected effectiveness, making it a pleasant surprise. Its affordability makes it an excellent option for those wanting to experiment with retinol without breaking the bank. - yu********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 14, 2025
1. I use this retinol product because it's truly affordable without compromising on quality. 2. I prefer gentle products, so the 500IU strength is perfect for me. When I apply it before bed, I feel like my skin becomes more elastic. 3. The texture absorbs well, and the subtle fragrance doesn't bother me at all. 1. The ingredients aren't great, and it's a bit sticky without providing much hydration. I've been using it for over a month, but haven't noticed any significant or dramatic effects. - db*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessJun 10, 2025
Skin Type: My skin is sensitive, dry, and prone to slight redness. Recently, as the weather has been getting warmer, I've noticed my pores looking larger and my skin feeling less firm. Why I Bought It: I heard that this was a great affordable introduction to retinol from Daiso, which is good for pores and wrinkles. Texture and Application: It's not heavy at all and has a light texture that even oily skin types could use. It applies smoothly and absorbs well into the skin. When I use this serum followed by a moisturizer, I don't wake up with dry skin in the morning! My Experience: Since retinol can be irritating, I only applied a small amount 2-3 times a week. However, because my skin is super sensitive, it quickly became red and irritated, so I had to stop using it on my face. Results: While it didn't work for my face, I've been consistently applying it to my neck. My neck wrinkles are quite deep, so I can't say I've seen dramatic results, but I figure consistent use is better than nothing. I'm continuing to use it rather than waste the product. If you don't have sensitive skin, this could be a great affordable option to try retinol for the first time! Those with super sensitive skin like mine might experience irritation. - ki********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 10, 2025
About 2-3 years ago, when we had to wear masks, I developed pores and blemishes that I'm still struggling with. As a result, I now have super sensitive skin prone to blemishes. This product, however, gives me the feeling that my skin becomes smoother, which is why I've used over 6 bottles at one point. While it doesn't make all the blemishes disappear, I felt like it helped calm them down a bit. It's one of the skincare products I've used so well that I've recommended it to others. I applied this product alone without a separate toner, and it kept my skin hydrated without any deep dryness. I usually dislike sticky products that feel heavy on my face, but this one absorbs well, so I really enjoyed using it. I think I'll continue using it until it's discontinued. The amount feels somewhat small... I guess it's because it's a Daiso product and I use it frequently. Although the quantity isn't much, the effectiveness is good, so I'm using it well despite the tears. I think I used about 2 or 3 bottles a month. (This is based on using only this product both morning and evening.) To be honest, I don't like applying many skincare products at once. After all, these products are still chemicals, and I think using various products together might cause the chemical components to mix randomly, potentially leading to blemishes. That's why I prefer using just one product, or applying products lightly. So, I only apply one product at a time. (It's also because I find it bothersome to apply multiple products...) - mg***Combination SkinRecommendedJun 2, 2025
This Bonscep retinol serum feels much gentler than vitamin-infused serums! First off, the price is so reasonable. It's amazing to find retinol at this price point! Highly recommended for those just starting their retinol journey. The bottle is quite small, so you'll likely use it up in about 2-3 weeks. You might want to buy 3-4 bottles at a time. - ka******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMay 28, 2025
The absorbs well is fantastic and it absorbs quickly too! I love it! I've been applying it consistently every evening for about a week, and I've noticed my pores have really shrunk. It makes me think using a higher concentration might yield even better results! Since it's a retinol serum, there's a risk of skin irritation if used incorrectly. However, perhaps due to its low concentration, I haven't experienced any adverse reactions. This product would be great for those wanting to see the effects of retinol or test how their skin responds to it! I didn't experience any issues... If you have dry skin, it might feel a bit drying though... In the evening, I tried applying this product alone... - dr*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 25, 2025
I've been using Bonsep's retinol eye cream with great results, so I decided to try their serum as well. Using products from the same line together - the serum and eye cream - seems to create a wonderful synergy. I always appreciate Daiso's basic skincare items. While I usually have allergic reactions to high-concentration retinol products, this one doesn't cause any issues. It seems like an excellent choice for those new to retinol. The only downside is the opaque packaging, which makes it difficult to see how much product is left. Other than that, it's fantastic! Boost the synergy by using products from the same Bonsep line! - pe*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMay 25, 2025
I've been using this product for about 15 days, and here's my take. Absorption: It applies smoothly and feels wonderfully hydrating. Effectiveness: With its essence-like texture, the moisturizing effect lasts long after application. Recommended skin type: As someone with combination skin that's both oily and dry, I found this product worked really well for me. The only downside is that I can only use it at night before bed. Other than that, everything else about it is great. I discovered that applying this product along with the Origins Booster Shot before bedtime doubles the effectiveness. It's become an essential part of my nighttime skincare routine.
