I've used this 2122 times and it's exactly the neutral shade I was looking for. The advantage of this BB cream is that it doesn't have any grayish undertones, though it doesn't include any sun protection features. When applied, it fills in pores and evens out my complexion as if it's my natural skin. It's perfect for quick touch-ups or when I need to dash out. Many reviews suggest mixing it with matte foundations that are too dry to use alone. I tried blending it with Teint Idole, but I didn't notice any significant improvement or deep dryness, so I just use them separately. I've applied it both with fingers and a sponge. Using fingers didn't give me an even application, and I disliked the product getting on my hands, so I stick to using a sponge. Those with dry skin might find it more versatile when mixed with matte foundations. For me, it's a pretty decent BB cream. I really like the color. + While others mix it with matte foundations they find too drying, I've been blending it with a glowy foundation for better staying power. I'm currently using it with Shiseido's Revital Essence foundation, and it definitely lasts longer than usual. I'm loving it! It's only suitable for evening out skin tone and texture, so the coverage is insufficient for a foundation-free look. Also, since it lacks sun protection, it's not ideal for those seeking an all-in-one product. - po****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 20, 2024
First off, the packaging is beautiful and hygienic. As a BB cream, it feels incredibly lightweight when applied to the face! It's moisturizing without being greasy...! Even when applied with fingers, it adheres to the skin remarkably well. If you're not expecting high coverage, you'll likely be satisfied with its ability to conceal! The pore coverage exceeds expectations, and it neatly corrects my acne scars and blemishes, which I have plenty of! As it's lightweight and adheres well, it's hard to say it breaks down, and even with oily skin, it maintains a clean finish! While I'm a shade 23-24 (Hera limited 25), this doesn't leave a white cast and looks natural, but I wish there was a wider range of colors available! It doesn't require any special tools to apply! - mi****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 30, 2024
Even if you're not great at controlling the amount, it doesn't look cakey and appears natural. Most importantly, it feels comfortable on the skin. I tried this out of desperation after other products irritated my skin, and I'm pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Please don't change the formula and keep producing this forever! For those with extremely oily skin, it might wear off by the afternoon. It's a bit annoying to have to reapply in the afternoon, but at least it doesn't look patchy. - wp*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 10, 2024
I bought both shades and you can find my detailed review for shade 1719 in another post. I use shade 2123 almost daily in combination with my Hera New Black Cushion in 17N1. I apply this brightening moisturizer after sunscreen and before the cushion foundation. It helps tone down the brightness of the cushion, creating a more natural look. While it's good on its own, I prefer using 1719 when I want a more radiant finish. If you're expecting high coverage, you might be disappointed. Although it contains titanium dioxide, it's used for color rather than sun protection. The lack of SPF might be a drawback for some.
