Pros

Even though it's a functional product, I was surprised at how well it applies - it has good slip, doesn't sit on top of the skin, spreads out smoothly and evenly, and isn't sticky at all. This Hwahae essence is great. At Iope, they use retinol for wrinkle and pore management, but this product targeting discoloration came out, so I tried the sample and immediately bought the full size. I have extremely sensitive dry skin, and if there are any incompatible ingredients, it stings and I have to wash it off right away. But this one worked really well for me and I loved it. It even has a pretty moisturizing finish, so in the summer I can just use this alone. The application and absorption are all excellent - it spreads out seamlessly without any residue. I bought it as my dark spots have become more noticeable since turning 30, and with my diligent skincare routine using Amore Pacific and Iope products, I've been seeing good results.

Tip

Apply the Amore Pacific Retinol Line, and the next day when you rest from retinol, apply this. Spread it evenly over the areas of concern on your cheeks where you have freckles - it's reassuring~
