It might be a bit challenging to apply evenly. Also, I have a feeling it could spoil quickly if water gets into the container.

As someone with a sensitive nose, I was worried about the odd smell others mentioned, but surprisingly, it's almost fragrance-free! It's thicker than other wash-off masks, yet feels moisturizing without any irritation.

Don't leave the wash-off mask on for too long. Five minutes is plenty for it to work its magic.

Personally, I find wash-off masks a bit of a hassle, so I don't plan on purchasing this myself.

I tried a sample and it's not bad at all. It really feels and smells like mashed potatoes. It's not too inconvenient to use, and as with other Skinfood products, the scent is subtle and natural, so it's not overwhelming.

It only brightens the skin immediately after use, but the effect fades within minutes. It's difficult to wash off and doesn't seem to have any lasting benefits.

Right after using it, my skin looks brighter and I love the potato scent. It absorbs well into the skin.

For best results, apply a thick layer over a sheet mask or toner pad. This makes it easier to remove and prevents dryness. Remember, the thicker the layer, the more cooling and hydrating effect you'll get!

Applying it directly on bare skin makes it difficult to wash off when it dries. Thin application can actually make skin feel drier as it sets.

Great for skin prone to heat sensitivity. The mashed potato-like texture makes it fun to apply.

It can feel a bit rich at times, so you might want to use it based on your skin's condition

The scent is exactly like when you're making a potato and flour mask, which was a bit surprising at first! 

The texture is like a slightly starchy, fluffy mashed potato - not as powdery as other products in the series, but still has that soft, flour-like feel. It's packed with moisture and has a crumbly, mashed potato consistency.

When applied, it's amazing for calming any blemishes or skin irritation. It's really good at instantly soothing when your face feels hot. It's gentler than products with mint and you can feel it immediately drawing out that burning sensation. It's truly... fantastic. 

It leaves a hydrating finish even for dry skin, so I highly recommend it!

There's not really anything I'm disappointed with. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with it.

It has a soothing effect on the skin and seems to provide some brightening benefits when applied. It gives my skin a lovely glow!

For scooping, use a silicone brush, and for application, use your hands or a makeup spatula for easier use! For hygiene, it's good to occasionally use the complimentary silicone brush that comes with it!

1. Texture issues - The potato-like granules can clump together, making application a bit inconvenient. Sometimes they concentrate in one area, giving the impression that you're using more product than with other items.

2. Scent - It smells like potato starch mixed with a hint of vomit. I don't usually pay much attention to scents and tend to get used to them, but in this case, the fragrance definitely lowers my rating of the product!

Texture: The texture feels just like mashed potatoes! It applies moistly, but with a sensation of tiny potato granules mixed in. It's like a soothing gel blended with potato starch!

Cooling effect: It has a very subtle, non-irritating cooling effect that's great for reducing heat and calming the skin! Unlike other cooling products, this one has a uniquely gentle yet noticeable effect - it really feels like you've placed a potato on your skin!

Hydration: Despite having a cooling effect, it's incredibly hydrating! My skin doesn't tend to get dry, so after using this, I felt I could even apply just a light moisturizer.

Make sure to look for the version that comes with a silicone brush set! Applying with a brush makes it easier to control the amount and spread it more evenly. Most importantly, the brush is incredibly useful. Using it makes the mask application process much cleaner and more convenient.

I was a bit disappointed that the soothing effect wasn't very noticeable. While it did cool down my skin, I didn't really feel like my skin condition improved or became softer. Another downside is the small amount of product. You need to apply quite a lot each time, so you can see the quantity decreasing quickly after just a few uses. It might not be enough for multiple applications.

When my skin felt hot, this mask instantly provided a cooling effect that made me feel so much better. It definitely helped lower my skin temperature, especially after sun exposure or during summer.

The scent is a bit off-putting... I was surprised because it wasn't the fragrance I expected when I first smelled it.

This mask is great for when your face feels hot and turns red from sun exposure in summer. I liked that the formula doesn't drip easily.
