This is the best base product I've ever tried! It doesn't cake on my extremely dry skin, but it's not overly dewy either - more of a semi-matte finish. Usually, semi-matte products always look patchy on me, so I'm amazed this one doesn't. It gives a beautiful complexion and even when it starts to wear off, it does so gracefully. Since my skin is super sensitive, it can feel a tiny bit tingly right after application when my skin isn't in its best condition. This happens with all cushions containing organic UV filters for me, so I can't really complain. Lately, my skin barrier seems to have improved, and I don't feel any irritation anymore. Personally, I'd recommend swapping out the included puff. The one that comes with it isn't great. - sk********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 25, 2025
I gave it as a gift to my family, and they love how it absorbs lightly and smoothly. So far, there don't seem to be any downsides. If any come up, I'll update my review. - zm********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 21, 2025
I've used this from winter through spring. While there's a slight feeling of dryness, I'm generally satisfied. The photos show before and after use on one day, and outdoor wear for 10 hours on another day. I bought this during a sale on Club Clio's official website for 9,900 won. So I got two - still the price of one at 19,800 won! I purchased shades 01 and 02, but I prefer 02. (01 was unnecessary... My redness increased after a trip early in the year, so yellow is definitely better than pink for me.) It helps control redness. Compared to before applying a base, it evens out the overall complexion, making the skin look good. It looks especially great in natural sunlight. It's easy to apply. I pat it on instead of rubbing. The coverage is a bit light, so I apply once, wait about 2 minutes, then apply again for full coverage. The staying power is impressive. Of course, areas around the mouth after eating, nose after blowing, and where glasses sit naturally wear off due to friction. But the rest of the face stays intact. I also liked the cushion puff! It applies well even with firm patting. Personally, I don't find this cushion very pretty right after application. It starts looking nice after about 2 hours. So I need to prepare a bit earlier than my departure time... It's a bit drying, so I apply it after thorough, nourishing skincare. The coverage is low with just one application. You need to build it up twice to get coverage similar to the Laneige Neo Matte Cushion. If you have dry skin, make sure your face is perfectly moisturized - like it's drenched in water - before using this! For cushions, foundations, and other base makeup, it seems crucial to apply them after thorough moisturizing. I think people with oily skin might prefer this cushion over those with dry skin! As I have blemish-prone skin, I replace the cushion puff weekly. - bj********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
Coverage: The coverage is great! It's like a middle ground between Laneige and Bibelvet, which I personally love. It does a decent job covering pores, though it's slightly less effective on uneven texture. Overall, the coverage is still impressive! Longevity: It wears beautifully for about 3-4 hours, which is fantastic! After that, there's a bit of darkening, but it's much better than other cushions I've tried. Adherence: The adherence is excellent! It bonds well with the skin and applies smoothly, which I really appreciate. Hydration: It's wonderfully hydrating. Works great even in winter - it's just perfect! Shade: I was worried it might be too light, but it has a slight yellow undertone. If you often use 21N, definitely get this! It really gives your face a radiant look. Overall: The shade isn't too light, and with great coverage, adherence, and decent longevity that fades beautifully, why wouldn't you buy this cushion? It's amazing! Oiliness: Rather than being oily, it's a bit tacky. I think this is due to its focus on hydration. Recommended for dry skin! Coverage: It doesn't seem to cover textured skin well. It covers even less than other matte cushions. Not just bumps, but even small imperfections aren't well concealed. Overall: Still, I think the pros outweigh the cons. I'll update if I notice anything else! It's a bit sticky? Like between bouncy and tacky. Using powder makes it perfect and doubles the longevity! - ss******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2025
This is perfect as a daily cushion foundation. It adheres lightly to the skin without much transfer. The packaging is so adorable that it's reason enough to buy it on its own! The longevity is somewhat disappointing. As time passes, it may lift or fade slightly around the nose and chin areas, so touch-ups might be necessary for long-lasting makeup. Also, if you have dry skin, it's best to moisturize thoroughly before use. Applying it directly to dry skin might cause it to look patchy. For a flawless complexion, make sure your skin is well-hydrated before use, then apply thin layers multiple times. When touching up, gently pat the remaining product on the puff onto your skin to avoid caking and achieve a smooth finish. - yj********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 13, 2025
I'm really enjoying using this cushion for my daily makeup routine. It's not overly wet or dewy, but has more of a semi-matte finish. There's just enough richness to prevent dryness, and it offers great coverage. You can layer it two or three times without any pilling - it builds up beautifully. My complexion is shade 22, and it blends seamlessly, giving me a radiant look. What I love most is its staying power - it keeps me looking fresh from morning to night without any need for touch-ups. (No darkening either!) I wish the case was a bit more durable. Unfortunately, it fell onto my bedroom floor and the lid cracked at the seam. The product itself is still great, so I'm carefully closing it and only using it at home now. It's disappointing that it broke so easily - it wasn't even a hard fall, just from my vanity to the floor. Such a shame! - r7********Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsDec 28, 2024
The affordable price is great. The case is interesting and lightweight. The puff is decent. It causes severe darkening, emphasizes dead skin cells, and has terrible pilling. So disappointing and unnecessary. - jk******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDec 9, 2024
✔️Skin Type: - Sensitive skin prone to dermatitis or blemishes when using incompatible products - Tends to have larger pores and more sebum - Likely combination dehydrated skin..!! 💙Quick Take: Recommended if you're looking for a moisturizing cushion! Not recommended if you want high coverage! - After using it for a few days, I didn't experience any breakouts! Usually my skin reacts quickly to incompatible products, but this one was fine. - It feels cool and hydrating when applied to the face! I'm not sure if it's marketed as a cooling cushion, but surprisingly, it gave a refreshing sensation when applied. - It allows for a natural, bright look! It goes on sheer and has a lighter shade, so it would be great for those with good skin or who don't need much coverage. - The shade is too light... It's labeled as #23, but when applied, it's more like #21? It goes on with a white undertone rather than yellow or pink, making it appear even brighter! Personally, it's too pale for me to use on its own. - As someone with blemish-prone skin, I need some coverage, but this product felt like it had almost none. A concealer is absolutely necessary!! - The case is a bit heavy! It has some thickness even when closed, and it's quite weighty. - hy********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedDec 4, 2024
I absolutely adore Peripera's cushion foundation. I used to be obsessed with their discontinued Airy? cushion, going through over 10 compacts. When they reformulated it, I wasn't impressed and became a cushion nomad for a long time. I recently decided to give Peripera another shot, and I'm so glad I did! As someone with warm-toned, blemish-prone combination skin, I tend to get oily on my forehead and cheeks. This cushion not only covers blemishes well but also develops a beautiful glow on my cheeks as the day goes on. I've had many people ask about my foundation! I used to use the navy blue version, but this seems to be a green collaboration edition. I'm so happy to have found my holy grail cushion again that I plan to stock up before it's discontinued. It's a shame this cushion doesn't seem widely available on other platforms. You might need to purchase it from Peripera's official site, which means many people might miss out on this gem. While the oil that develops on my cheeks looks lovely, it doesn't fare as well on drier areas of my face, which is a bit disappointing. Highly recommended for combination dehydrated skin! Please, just try it once! - 03*****Normal SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedNov 30, 2024
I'm using this as a touch-up cushion rather than my main foundation. It applies smoothly and thinly, making it comfortable for everyday use. Although it's meant for touch-ups, the coverage seems a bit lacking and the staying power appears to be somewhat short.
