My lips tend to crack and chap all year round, but this product is a game-changer. It contains 90,000ppm (about 9%) of shea butter, along with skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and panthenol, which effectively manage dry lips. The texture is slightly heavy, similar to an ointment, making it particularly beneficial for cracked lips. 3. Here's a pro tip I've mentioned before - it's not just for lips! Due to its ointment-like texture and smooth application, it works wonders on cracked skin around the mouth. You could even use it for nail care before and after manicures. I'm currently using it on my hangnails, and it quickly soothes the dead skin cells, making nail care a breeze! You'll notice how quickly it calms any slightly scratched or rough areas when applied. The quantity is less than I expected... Despite its versatility for use beyond just the lips, the amount is frustratingly small. I've been using it to care for the sides of my nails where they tend to split, and I really wish there was more product. 10g feels insufficient - I'd prefer if it came in a 20-30g size. It's a bit disappointing in that regard. Try applying a thin layer on your lips before bed, just like you'd use a sleeping pack on your face. Why isn't this more popular? It's the best lip balm I've ever used... While it's a bit heavy, it doesn't feel sticky at all. Instead, it's like a protective barrier or overnight mask for your lips. You don't need to apply much - just put it on before bed and it's heavenly! Every morning when I wake up, I realize there's nothing else that makes my lips feel this comfortable and hydrated. It's especially great when your lips are chapped or cracked. Other products don't relieve that tight, stinging feeling, but this one makes it disappear as soon as you apply it. That's why I've been using only this lately. If you've tried Erborian's cream, you'll know what I mean - it has that unique feeling of comfort and protection when your skin isn't at its best. This lip essence gives the same sensation. I've tried Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, Vaseline, Bepanthen, various stick lip balms, Etude House lip mask, and more... but this one tops them all. The regular price is 12,000 won, which is a bit disappointing since it's never on sale... It doesn't even show up on secondhand markets, probably because it's not well-known. I wish they'd come out with an ointment or balm with this same feeling... Other brands' products with similar textures tend to sit on top of the skin, but Erborian's absorbs so well without feeling too heavy, providing amazing hydration. It has a unique, unparalleled feel to it. The texture is fantastic and its hydrating power is legendary. You can use it as a multi-purpose balm or essence - it works wonders on chapped or irritated areas.
