It's not heavy, but light, yet it seems sufficient on its own for those with oily skin. As I have dry skin, I use this along with an ampoule. It's easy to use generously. At night, I apply it with other products, and during the day, I can apply just this toner and essence before makeup without any issues. Please, you must try this! Forget about soothing effects or anything else. Just apply toner, this essence, and then cream before makeup. Your face will drink up the makeup so smoothly, it won't budge at all! Also, when your face is all chapped and stinging in winter, apply this essence. It applies lightly but provides great hydration, which I love. As someone with super sensitive skin, this product suits me well.
