My skin felt moisturized without any tightness.
Cons• Limited cleansing power: It doesn't completely remove heavy makeup. However, it works well for removing light, basic foundation.

So convenient! The aloe vera ingredient is great for soothing the skin. It seems to work well for dead skin cell removal too, leaving my skin feeling smooth after washing. The scent is like a Kenzo perfume with cucumber notes, mixed with a hint of men's aftershave. Personally, I'm not a fan of strong fragrances, so the scent isn't my cup of tea. The texture is thick and creamy, not runny at all, which is perfect for masking as it doesn't drip. It seems they've intentionally formulated it this way for an effective mask experience.
ConsOddly enough, this product stings my eyes. While applying the mask, avoiding the eye area is fine, but when I rinse it off, my eyes become so irritated they turn red. Maybe it's just me? For makeup removal, it works well enough for light, daily makeup like sunscreen, but it struggles with heavy makeup. Oil-based cleansers seem to be the best for removing intense makeup. While it's great to have a product that works as both a cleanser and mask, I can't use it frequently due to the eye irritation. I'll probably only use it occasionally when I need some extra exfoliation and skin soothing.
TipFor heavy makeup, it's more effective to first use an oil-based cleanser, then follow up with this product. If you try to cleanse heavy makeup with this alone, you'll need to repeat the process two or three times. I recommend using this product for cleansing only when you're wearing light makeup.

Definitely different from oil-based cleansing balms. It's a relatively thick cream! Soft and smooth, making it easy to spread. - Good for first cleanse. Personally, I felt the 'base' had better cleansing power than Banila Co cleansing balm. Clearly see where it's removed. - Comes with a spatula for convenience, and a little goes a long way. Easy to scoop out desired amount, Doesn't require much for effective care. - Beautiful product color and packaging Great for gifting, and adds elegance to your bathroom. - Has a fresh, fruity scent often found in skincare products, which I liked.
Cons- The particles can be irritating (Caution) Though I don't have sensitive skin, I definitely felt a stinging and rough sensation on more delicate areas. Be careful. - Weak cleansing power for waterproof and lip & eye products Need to use a separate lip & eye remover, which is a bit inconvenient. Banila Co cleansing balm seems to remove these products better due to its oil-based formula.
TipTIPS - More recommended for oily/combination skin types needing careful sebum and impurity management. Dry and sensitive skin types should be cautious. (Unsure about its effectiveness for exfoliation) - Use with light pressure, rolling motions to reduce friction from particles and enhance its gentle mask-like care. If you found my review helpful, please give it a 'like'!

The pink and green color combo is an instant mood-lifter when you open the lid. Texture: Thick and creamy like Greek yogurt. Best applied with a spatula. Spread it out, then gently massage. Add a bit of water while massaging and it melts like ice cream. Scent: Neutral, neither love it nor hate it. Pros: As it's summer now, I'm dealing with severe redness and constant heat on my cheeks. This product slightly cools down that heat sensation, which feels great after cleansing.
ConsJar packaging: This is the biggest drawback. It would be much better if it came in a squeeze tube. Eye makeup removal: It doesn't fully remove mascara. I'd recommend this product for those who wear light makeup or don't use much eye makeup.
TipMake sure to work up a good lather when using this product.

It spreads easily and smoothly, making application a breeze. ▶️ Application At first, when I scooped it out with the spatula, I was worried it might be too thick to apply well. But once I put it on my face, it spread smoothly and evenly. It contains small particles that seem to help with dead skin cell removal. True to its meringue soap nature, it lathers up wonderfully, allowing for a gentle cleanse. After use, my skin felt like it had a moisture barrier, with no dryness - which was great! ▶️ Quantity The container is packed full, and there's more product than I expected! Since you only need a small amount to create a rich lather, it should last quite a while. ▶️ Scent As soon as I applied it, I noticed a fresh, sweet, familiar scent. After thinking about it for a moment, I realized it smells similar to bubble gum! I loved the delicious scent, but those who dislike sweet smells might find it polarizing. ▶️ Ingredients According to the app, there don't seem to be any particularly harmful ingredients apart from fragrance. Even with my sensitive skin, I didn't experience any major issues! However, for those with super sensitive skin, I'd recommend doing a patch test first. ▶️ Packaging The jar packaging might be a matter of personal preference. However, I was satisfied with it, especially since it comes with a spatula and has a split design concept.
Cons▶️ Cleansing Effectiveness I usually do a double cleanse, so I tried using this as my second cleanser after using a cleansing water. In my opinion, for foundation or pigmented products, it's best to use this as a second cleanser after removing makeup first. While its cleansing power isn't bad, it might not be sufficient as an all-in-one makeup remover. However, it's excellent for refining skin texture and soothing the skin! ▶️ Price The regular price might be a bit steep for students. However, it's a great product to purchase online or during sales!
TipThe lather is much richer than you might expect, so I recommend starting with a small amount! I almost ended up washing my face all day when I tried to use it as a mask by applying too much.

The rich lather was a pleasant surprise - I expected it to be less foamy like typical low pH cleansers, but it actually produces an abundance of foam, which I love! As someone who couldn't use low pH cleansers due to their lack of lather, this aspect really appealed to me. The moisturizing finish is another highlight. You can definitely feel the mask element combined with the cleanser, leaving your skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated after washing - similar to a gentle low pH cleanser, but even better!
ConsIn terms of cleansing power, it's important to note that this product focuses more on its mask properties rather than deep cleansing. It might not be sufficient for removing makeup on its own. I'd recommend using it as a second cleanser after removing makeup with a more effective cleanser, or as a morning cleanser. Regarding the quantity, while the product isn't small, it may run out quickly if used daily as a cleanser replacement. Unlike regular cleansing foams where a small amount goes a long way, you'll likely use more of this product due to its mask-like application, potentially leading to faster consumption.
TipI wouldn't recommend this for those with oily skin who prefer a squeaky-clean finish. However, if you enjoy the moisturizing and gentle finish of low pH cleansers, you'll love this. It's like an upgraded version of a low pH cleanser!

It put me in a good mood even before using it. - Fragrance As soon as you open the lid, the scent wafts out. At first, I thought it might be a bit artificial, but as I used it, I got used to it and now I quite like it.
Cons- Cleansing effectiveness As expected, for waterproof products like eyeliner or mascara, you'll need to use a separate makeup remover to fully cleanse. - Value for money Considering the volume and price... it doesn't seem to offer great value. Especially if you use it frequently as a scrub or mask in addition to cleansing, it will run out quickly.
TipLike all scrubs, this product might not be the gentlest, so it's best to roll it very carefully and gently when applying.

It felt a bit stiff at first, but once you add water, it becomes incredibly soft and lathers up beautifully! While most people liked the scent, those who dislike aloe might not be fans. I personally enjoyed the fragrance. I love that squeaky clean feeling when cleansing, and many low-pH cleansers designed to prevent dryness don't provide that. However, this product gives you that satisfying clean feeling without leaving your skin feeling parched - it's amazing! While my blemishes haven't completely cleared up yet, the scrub definitely helps refine my skin texture. After washing, my skin feels so smooth and well-balanced, I'm in love!
ConsDon't expect too much from the 'meringue-like' foam description. The lather isn't particularly rich or dense. My main concern was its cleansing effectiveness, especially for eye makeup like mascara and eyeliner. While it removed eyeliner well, it struggled with mascara. Also, when I got the foam in my eyes while trying to remove eye makeup, it was quite painful and drying (even artificial tears couldn't soothe it). Lastly, the scrub particles are larger than expected, so those with super sensitive skin might find it irritating.
TipUsing this product after removing eye makeup with a dedicated eye makeup remover would be absolutely perfect!
