I have a combination skin type with extremely severe dryness. But I've already been using this product for 2 bottles now. First of all, it removes makeup incredibly well. And the emulsification is super effective! The fragrance is also nice..😗 There's no tightness in the skin at all after washing.

The cleansing power was really good, and this cleansing balm alone removed all traces of pearl, mascara, and eyeliner. It was not drying at all, had a pleasant scent, and did not cause any eye irritation. The formula spreads easily and does not cause any eye discomfort.
Cons
It's not dry, but there's a bit of oiliness at the end. Despite being normal, I'm oily.

The fragrance is strongly present. Those sensitive to fragrances should visit Olive Young and try smelling or testing it. The product applies smoothly and rinses off well. There are many cleansing oils and balms that leave a slippery feeling even after rinsing with water, but the finish was very nice. It cleanses the skin thoroughly without any residue left behind. Sunscreen is removed well, while mascara is removed slightly less effectively. Eye makeup likely requires a dedicated remover. It seems to remove dead skin and blackheads/whiteheads better than the Witch's Factory cleansing oil. Gently massaging with the cleansing balm helps exfoliate. The scent is very familiar to those who have used the shea butter hand cream. It's exactly that scent!! It also has a slightly cozy baby powder-like fragrance. The scent is absolutely satisfactory!! As someone who has used cleansing oils, cleansing balms are less thorough in cleansing compared to oils, and because you have to scoop and smear it using a spoon instead of just squeezing out the oil, it was more of a hassle, so I didn't reach for it as much. Additionally, the disappointing part is that when using a spoon, the cleansing balm that gets stuck in the concave part of the spoon doesn't apply directly onto the skin, so you have to remove it with your hands. Since it's a balm type, there's no major inconvenience in spreading it, so I think a flat spoon would have been better.
