The absorbs well and absorbs well. However, I know creams should typically absorb within about 30 seconds, but this one takes a bit longer. I'm not sure if my skin is actually improving, but I haven't noticed any negative effects while using this. It's not sticky at all. After a short while, it spreads easily and feels very light, almost as if you're not wearing anything. It gives a slight Inner Glow effect. Nothing particularly bad. I do get some blemishes, but that's likely due to my makeup since I apply it after using this product. I'm currently using the houttuynia cordata toner + cream + foam cleanser from this brand. They're good! Especially the foam cleanser - it's fantastic. I'm using all three products from this company. - ap*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresApr 25, 2025
I've been using the Anua Heartleaf Toner, and it really suits my skin. It's helped reduce my blemishes, especially those pesky little bumps. I wanted to find a more affordable option that I could use long-term, and that's when I discovered this product. It's only 5500 won for 150ml, and it contains 84% Houttuynia Cordata extract, which is even higher than Anua's! The scent is identical to Anua's, but the texture is different. While Anua's is a watery toner, this one has a thicker, essence-like consistency. Just something to keep in mind! While there are many great things about this product, it does take a while to absorb. After application, I feel a burning sensation on my skin. The cream from the same line is even worse, but the toner also causes this discomfort. My eyes even feel slightly irritated, as if they're stinging. It was so close to becoming my holy grail product, but these issues are really disappointing. - ew******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessApr 21, 2025
It has a runny texture, few ingredients, and is gentle. When applied, it feels refreshing. Even when I had inflammation, it didn't sting. After absorption, there's no residue, leaving the skin clean. There's a subtle herbal scent, possibly from the Houttuynia Cordata, which was pleasant. It feels cool and soothing on the skin for about 30 minutes. Absorption is a bit slow, so right after application, there's a slightly sticky feeling. After 30 minutes to an hour, there's a sudden increase in warmth and redness. It feels like a rebound effect after the initial soothing. It might not suit those sensitive to Houttuynia Cordata, or the high concentration might be too much. Used alone, it was drying for my combination skin. If Houttuynia Cordata works for you, this might be good for oily, blemish-prone skin. It's not watery like some toners, but more of an essence-like liquid that doesn't drip when applied by hand. It feels like it's packed with nourishment. As I've been getting older, my skin has been becoming drier, so I switched to this product. When I swipe it on with a cotton pad, my skin instantly feels hydrated. I've tried several products from Dermafactory, not just this one, and I'm satisfied with all of them. I plan to repurchase. There's nothing I dislike about it. I just hope they maintain the current reasonable price. - qb*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 4, 2025
It's packed with moisturizing ingredients and has a runny texture, which makes it less irritating for sensitive skin It's more like an essence, so it doesn't dispense easily, which can be inconvenient I mix in a drop of face oil to boost the hydration - tt*****Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 18, 2024
A toner that nails the basics!! First off, I can't not mention the price - the value for money is insane. Despite being budget-friendly, it's absolutely not lacking in hydration compared to pricier toners. I have super sensitive skin, but this was totally fine for me. On those days when my skin feels like it's on fire, and if I'm not feeling well, my skin can hurt so much I could cry - that means my skin barrier is compromised, right? But even when my barrier was damaged, this didn't hurt at all. It's seriously a first for me. I'm in love! It has a slight viscosity, but it's not runny like mucus, doesn't absorb slowly, and isn't watery - it's just perfect! I found the texture nice and liked everything about it, but my sister only likes very watery toners, so that's the only slight downside for her. If you have sensitive skin and haven't found your go-to toner yet => Try this! If you absolutely hate anything but watery toners => Maybe... think about it? If you're not a fan of thicker textures but willing to give it a shot => Yes, yes, yes, definitely try it!! The price is so reasonable, and if you don't like it, you can use it on your body or for masking! - wi****Normal SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedDec 16, 2024
It has decent hydration and great ingredients, which makes me reach for it often. The price is also quite reasonable. To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. The essence-like texture might be a matter of personal preference though. - dy********Normal SkinRecommendedDec 13, 2024
When I get small blemishes, I apply this about 3 times before bed, and they almost disappear overnight. It also gives my skin an Inner Glow from within. There's nothing to dislike about this product. It's a great value for the large size - there's no reason not to buy it! - po*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 10, 2024
As someone with dry skin, I absolutely love that this isn't completely runny but has a slight viscosity to it! My sensitive skin doesn't allow me to use many products, so in fall and winter, I layer this two or three times before applying a barrier cream. I'm totally satisfied! It might feel a bit heavy in summer, but since I have dry skin, I didn't find this to be a major issue. I highly recommend layering this for those with dry skin! It's so gentle that it didn't cause any blemishes either! - jh********Combination SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJul 18, 2024
It's great for targeting small blemishes and has a runny consistency that spreads easily without dripping like water. The packaging...? I'm currently using it by transferring it into an empty bottle from another product. It's not a dropper type, but one you squeeze out after opening the cap.
