ConsCompared to other modeling masks, it lacks hydration. I've never had a bad reaction to skincare before, but while using this mask, my face started tingling and my skin completely broke out.

It's a cut above other at-home modeling masks, and you can really feel the difference in quality. The application method is unique - instead of mixing powder with water, you blend a paste (part 1) with a rich oil serum (part 2). While it's convenient not having to adjust the water ratio, I was a bit worried about it setting too quickly. You definitely want to use every last drop since it's precious stuff! The mask stays moisturizing throughout the entire setting process. It has a lovely scent, typical of Dalba products. As it dries, you can feel a liquid coming through, but it's not oil - it's a hydrating essence. It's so moisturizing that you need to lie still to keep it adhered properly. Unlike other modeling masks that left my skin feeling dry and uncomfortable after an hour, this one kept my skin hydrated even after a 50-minute nap. While there was a slight tightness from making expressions, overall it felt wonderfully moisturizing. The next morning, my husband commented on how great my skin looked - plump, hydrated, and with reduced redness. My skin barrier feels significantly improved. The Hwahae Testers weren't kidding about this mask's effectiveness!
ConsThe price is definitely on the higher side compared to others. However, it's a must-have for winter. Other modeling masks lack hydration, requiring additional serums, but this one is so moisturizing that you can skip pre-mask products. One downside: I had a blemish forming on my upper lip area, and by morning it had become more inflamed. By afternoon, I noticed a few more blemishes on my cheeks. Next time, I'll try a lighter application and adjust my skincare routine accordingly.
TipPro tip: Use a toner-soaked cotton pad to gently remove any mask residue stuck in your hairline - it's painless! The mask was so hydrating that I even left some on my neck. The next morning, I noticed the mask was still releasing essence on my desk - it seems to continue dispensing serum as it contracts. Talk about working hard to deliver hydration!
