  I've been using this consistently for two weeks since I received it. It's said to intensively care for impurities with plant mucilage, and you can definitely feel a more elastic texture because of it! However, when you roll it on, it feels smooth and gentle. My skin tends to produce excess oil quickly if a product doesn't suit me, but I didn't experience that at all with this. It seems to remove makeup quite effectively too! When cleansing with your hands, you'll notice significantly less raised sebum I typically only wear sunscreen daily, so I've been using cleansing foams that remove everything in one step without a second cleanse. I've had my eye on this Shionle foam after hearing it removes most makeup. I was shocked when I tested it on my arm - it even removed most eyeliners! (Side note: The So Simple pencil eyeliner has amazing staying power, even better than the Clio brush pen (waterproof). Worth trying if you struggle with smudging!) This feels the gentlest and least drying of all the alkaline cleansers I've tried (For reference, the popular MNGG foam cleanser didn't work for me despite buying it twice - it was drying and didn't cleanse well. Just didn't suit my skin.) My previous alkaline foam really stung my eyes, though it was fine otherwise. After trying this Shionle one, I switched immediately. If you have similar skin to mine, definitely try this as your evening first cleanser. I'm recommending it to all my friends!

  1. Texture This is my first time using a cleansing foam with this unique texture. It's slippery like seaweed extract and has a stretchy, elastic consistency that pulls like threads! It definitely feels like it adheres well to impurities and sebum, giving a thorough cleansing sensation. 2. Scent I was worried it might have a fishy smell since the main ingredient is seaweed, but that wasn't the case at all. It has a typical cosmetic fragrance. However, I personally found the scent a bit artificial, so while it's not my preference, it's not overwhelming enough to prevent me from using the product. 3. Performance As you can see in the photo, it even removes heavily pigmented water tints in one wash. For sunscreen, a single cleanse with this product is enough for thorough removal. While the elastic texture doesn't create voluminous foam, it does produce a dense, fine lather that adheres well to the skin, effectively absorbing sebum and removing impurities. The AHA and BHA ingredients also help with dead skin cell removal and hydration, so consistent use might help improve skin texture. The finish leaves no residue, giving that squeaky clean feeling.

  Cons

  Due to its elastic texture, you need to rinse several times to wash it off completely. As someone with dry skin, I noticed a slight tightness after use. Cleansing foams made with "potassium hydroxide" tend to have strong cleansing power, making them more suitable for oily skin types with excess sebum production. Those with dry skin might find it a bit drying.
