Although this product has been discontinued after being reformulated, I used it for quite a long time. The scent is a bit strong, but being a cream, it feels nice when applied. Thanks to the vitamin capsules, I often heard compliments that my complexion had brightened. The downside, which applies to d'Alba products in general, is that the price is a bit on the higher side...? - di******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 14, 2025
With the change of seasons recently, my skin was feeling really dry, so I decided to try the Dalba White Truffle Oil Capsule Cream for its moisturizing properties. The first thing that catches your eye are the oil capsules in the cream! When applied to the skin, they melt gently, providing deep hydration without feeling sticky, and absorb quickly - I was really impressed. The next morning, I could feel that my skin remained moisturized and glowing, without any tightness. Especially with ingredients like white truffle, glutathione, and vitamin C, I noticed that after a few days of use, my dull complexion seemed to brighten up a bit. As someone with combination sensitive skin, I'm always careful when choosing products, but I felt safe using this one since it's vegan-certified and has passed low-irritation tests. However, those with oily skin might find it a bit rich. I was satisfied using it with my combination skin, but the experience may vary depending on your skin type. Overall, I'd strongly recommend this cream to anyone looking for both hydration and a glow, especially those with dry or sensitive skin! It's perfect for winter or seasonal transitions. The jar packaging made using a spatula slightly inconvenient, but I suppose that's unavoidable if you want to use it hygienically. Since I have combination dehydrated skin, instead of applying it evenly all over, I first apply a thin layer to my entire face, then gently pat and layer a bit more around my eyes and mouth where I need extra moisture and nourishment. This way, the areas that need more richness get it, while the areas that need hydration get a protective barrier, giving satisfying results. - li**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMar 7, 2025
Skin type: Dry, Sensitive Review after use: This cream feels like it wraps your skin in a thin protective layer with a moisturizing and balanced oily texture. It seems more suitable for dry winters and seasonal changes rather than summer. While I used it well during the day, I found it particularly effective in my nighttime routine, especially on easily dried areas like around the eyes and cheeks, where it seemed to maintain moisture throughout the night. I've recommended it to many friends, and those who've tried it are still 100% satisfied! Rather than a heavy routine, you can achieve a non-sticky, clear finish by thoroughly absorbing the product in a simple routine of toner - light essence/serum - d'Alba cream. These days, I prefer tube-type packaging because it's hygienic and easy to use. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the jar-type container. However, I can't really consider it a disadvantage since I appreciate its own kind of elegance. • Use a spatula for application to ensure hygienic use. • Always sanitize the spatula before and after use. • Don't apply too many heavy products in the steps before the cream. - ha******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 4, 2025
When applied as the final step of your nighttime skincare routine, it leaves your skin wonderfully hydrated. It absorbs quickly, making it perfect for evening use. The capsules don't leave any residue, and it comes with a built-in scoop, which is a nice touch. It feels a bit too rich for morning or daytime use. If you apply makeup over this cream, you might experience some pilling. A little goes a long way - you can cover more area than you might expect with just a small amount. - ye****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 17, 2025
I absolutely loved that I could customize the ratio of the butter-like cream, which boosts hydration, and the serum that fills skin with elasticity, according to my daily changing skin condition. After using it, my skin's elasticity noticeably improved, and even with foundation on, my glow didn't fade - I frequently received compliments on my complexion. While the butter-type cream occasionally pilled on my skin and I felt it didn't quite reach deep-set hydration (this may vary person to person), it significantly helped with skin elasticity and Inner Glow. I'm definitely willing to repurchase and use it again. The cream sometimes pilled on my skin, and I often felt it didn't provide deep hydration, which was disappointing. Before bed, I would scoop out just the butter-type cream and apply a thin layer, focusing on areas needing hydration, allowing it to absorb. Before makeup, I increased the ratio of serum for a lighter application that prevented foundation pilling and ensured good adherence. I consider this customizable approach the cream's greatest advantage. - al********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 8, 2025
The fragrance is lovely and it applies smoothly. It absorbs well into the skin. I can't think of any particular drawbacks while using this product. - pc********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedJan 10, 2025
Dalba... Famous but too expensive to try... Finally got to use it thanks to The Hwahae Testers! First off, even the box looks luxurious. When I opened it, there was a spoon for scooping and a dust-prevention cap. Inside, I found a white cream with yellow granules. The texture is just right - not too thick, not too watery. I love how it absorbs well even when applied generously, without pilling or leaving a greasy residue. The finish is really impressive! The only downside is that the jar packaging isn't very hygienic. But I think that's common for all jar-type creams. - mi*******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 5, 2025
The hydration is great! I can't remember exactly how long I've been using it, but it's probably been over 3 months. The texture has a bit of weight to it and feels very moisturizing. I mainly use it for massaging my chin area. It claims to have whitening and anti-wrinkle effects, but I'm not sure about the brightening results. - hy*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, finding the right cream has been a struggle. Blemishes, deep dryness, and excess oil have always been challenging for me. But I'm writing this review because the Dalba cream is absolutely amazing! It contains great ingredients for oily skin, and most importantly, it doesn't have any pore-clogging components, which is why I decided to buy it. I'm extremely satisfied. Please don't change the formula and keep it as is! It absorbs well without leaving a greasy feeling, and its hydration power is excellent. I've finally found my holy grail cream. Please make other skincare products without pore-clogging ingredients too. Include beneficial ingredients for oily skin in other products, just like this cream. I'd love to use toners and serums, but they only seem to have ingredients good for dry skin... This causes oil overproduction for us oily-skinned folks. This cream, however, works perfectly without any such concerns. There's nothing particularly bad to mention... Though I'm a bit cautious about how it might work for extremely oily skin. Layering an ampoule for hydration and then adding this cream on top worked great for moisturizing... - ku*********Combination SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 15, 2024
It feels convenient for daily use. Since I'm often outdoors, I don't like feeling greasy, but this works well for me. When I apply it at night and sleep, by the next morning it seems like the hydration and moisture effects are a bit weak. Using it feels somewhat cumbersome. I mix equal parts of the product in advance on one side for easier application.
