My sensitive skin definitely calmed down a lot. I mostly wore minimal makeup with just brightening moisturizer, but I never felt like the cleansing was insufficient. For my skin that used to get red, irritated, and tingly, this cleanser was definitely gentle and non-irritating. Now my skin feels much more comfortable. Even while rinsing, you can feel how hydrating it is. Cleansing effectiveness: ★★★★ Gentleness & Hydration: ★★★★★
ConsUsing only cleansing water, from about day 2-3 (I couldn't use any other masks or exfoliators due to my skin condition), I noticed that blackheads on my nose and whiteheads around my nose and chin weren't being thoroughly removed. This might vary depending on individual skin type, as I tend to have oily skin. Those with oily skin might want to consider double cleansing.
TipFor days when I wear lip or eye makeup, I follow the instructions to leave it on for 5-10 seconds before cleansing. However, if you don't control the amount of water well, it can run into your eyes. On the other hand, if you use too little, it won't effectively remove waterproof mascara and other stubborn makeup.
