The wooden design makes it a pleasure to use. Unlike plastic containers that can be shaky, this wooden type provides stability when drawing lines. The strawberry milk shade is perfect for those with lighter complexions and seems to pair wonderfully with pink-toned tints. I can't really think of any downsides. It's great that it even comes with a pencil sharpener. - pa***********Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 17, 2025
I'm already on my third Clio lip pencil in different colors! I prefer pencil types over thicker lip liners as they're easier for precise application, and Clio's product feels smooth and user-friendly. My lip line isn't very prominent, but my natural lip color is dark with defined edges, so I need a lip liner for a pretty gradient effect. Since I have a fair complexion, I need a lighter lip liner for a natural gradient. Clio's Rosy Pink and Peach Beige were a bit dark for me, so I was thrilled to discover and immediately purchase the Soft Pink shade. The second photo shows swatches of Clio's Soft Berry, Rosy Pink, Peach Beige, and Ecmel lip pencils. The third photo shows my bare lips with Soft Pink lining and blending, and the last photo shows the result after applying tint. I'm so satisfied with how naturally it blends with my skin tone. I highly recommend this for those with fair skin or anyone looking for a lip liner to use with light lip colors! While it blends smoothly on the skin, it can clump slightly on the lips. It's fine if you control the amount well. Also, it has a slight woody scent. - bm*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 24, 2024
I have a light undertone, so using overly dark pencils can make me look dull. Luckily, they've just released a new light color, which I bought and tried! When you neatly define your lip line, it instantly elevates your makeup game. The staying power is impressive, and it's versatile enough to use for eye makeup too! It wears down surprisingly quickly... Maybe because I have to sharpen it. Also, even though it's called 'Light', it's not extremely bright or super pale. - si******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRecommendedAug 17, 2024
A delicate strawberry milk pink shade. I love how it looks natural even when applied to bare lips and lightly smudged. It also covers any stained lip lines. The texture is wonderfully soft. Having to sharpen it manually can be a bit of a hassle, but it seems worth the effort. It's a good idea to check if it complements the color of your usual lip products before purchasing. - ek*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 17, 2024
It lasts longer than other brands' overlip products. Plus, since you sharpen it to use, it's quite long, so it'll probably last for ages. If you apply foundation on your lips and then draw the lip line, it tends to clump a bit with the foundation. - yo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 6, 2024
I really like the 22-23 shade with its deep and light undertones. It's perfect for pale complexions, creating a soft, plump lip look without appearing too white. The pink-beige color is just lovely. My lips are naturally quite dark, but my personal color analysis suggests I look better with lighter shades, which can make finding the right lip color challenging. This product is great because I can smudge it from the lip line to the center, and it makes any lip color I apply on top look softer and less intense. The shade is so pretty that I think it would work beautifully as a touch-up product, or even as an eyeshadow or blush. Personally, I find the pencil-like shape, being thin and long, isn't the most convenient for carrying around. Since I prefer to draw thicker lip lines, I wish it came in a shorter, chunkier format. The color shown as number 1 in the photo is Soft Berry. I think it has potential for use beyond just lips. - qh******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 20, 2024
The new shade is lighter than the previous one, making it more versatile. It does a decent job of covering the lip line. While it's not exactly my perfect shade match, which is a bit disappointing, it's still quite pretty. - lo*********Dry SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRecommendedJun 5, 2024
The lip pencil color is bright, so it's not dull. It applies smoothly, making it easy to draw. It also makes your lips look plump, which is great! The color is quite light, so if you have a darker complexion, it might make your lips look a bit disconnected from your face. Apply lipstick or tint first, then follow up with the lip pencil. - js****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessRecommendedJun 3, 2024
The color is light, but it covers lip pigmentation really well and blends out naturally! I'm satisfied with how it absorbs and adheres to the lips, maintaining the excellent quality of their previous products. Having to sharpen it for use can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, but it's not a deal-breaker.
