I'm always cautious with base makeup, but I'm so moved by Swanycoco's Peptain BB Cream that I had to leave a review! It's truly comfortable even for ultra-sensitive skin like mine. It's moisturizing, non-irritating, and adds a subtle glow - I've been reaching for it every day lately. ✅ Texture The texture is moisturizing and smooth. A little goes a long way in brightening the skin naturally, so be careful with the amount! It spreads thinly on the skin without feeling heavy, and you can layer it without it feeling suffocating. Gently patting it in helps it absorb without stickiness, leaving a fresh finish. I loved how it felt moisturizing even on dry days. ✅ Coverage For a BB cream, the coverage is surprisingly good! While severe blemishes might need concealer, it naturally covers mild redness and uneven skin tone, making your skin look much clearer. I love how it covers without looking thick, giving a natural, your-skin-but-better look. ✅ Blemishes This is truly the best part! My skin is so sensitive that the wrong base makeup can cause immediate breakouts, but I've used Swanycoco's BB for days without any blemishes! In fact, thanks to its gentle ingredients, my skin felt even more comfortable. I really want to recommend this to those with sensitive skin!
Cons🔍 Room for improvement The longevity isn't exceptionally long. There's some transfer when wearing a mask, and it tends to break down slightly with oil over time. It's best to touch up carefully. Also, those seeking perfect coverage might find it slightly lacking.
Tip💡 My personal tips * Apply a hydrating skincare routine first, then spread a small amount of BB cream thinly for better adherence. (Especially watch the amount!) * For areas needing more coverage, dab on a tiny bit of concealer for natural-looking coverage. * To improve longevity, try using a small amount of makeup primer before applying the BB cream. ✨ Overall impression If you're looking for a moisturizing BB cream that's safe even for extremely sensitive skin, Swanycoco's BB cream is perfect! It gives natural coverage and a subtle glow for a healthy-looking complexion, and you can use it comfortably without worrying about blemishes - I'm completely satisfied!

I figured it was probably due to pore-clogging ingredients, so I couldn't really use any foundations. I turned my attention to BB creams and looked for products without those problematic ingredients. That's when I came across Swanycoco. The ingredients looked good and the reviews were positive, so I decided to give it a try. While I'm not completely over the moon, I'm quite satisfied with it! Though there are a few downsides, for me, the pros outweigh the cons. So unless I find something better, I plan to stick with this. Here's my breakdown: 1. Texture: Thick consistency (doesn't run) 2. Application: Not bad, but it doesn't spread thinly so you need to control the amount 3. Color: Brightens skin tone by one shade (I'm a light 21 with deep undertones) *You'll need to apply it to your neck for a natural look 4. Darkening: Almost none 5. Coverage: Medium, pretty good for a BB cream! - Covers redness well, but not so great with pigmentation - If coverage is crucial, you might need extra concealer - I'm too lazy for concealer, so I just layer more BB cream where I want extra coverage 6. Staying power: Medium-low - Depends on skin condition and skincare routine (can get patchy or separate if skin is oily) 7. Irritation & blemishes: Absolutely no irritation, no itching, and no breakouts! I mean it, no breakouts at all! Plus, while most foundations come in 30ml, this one is 40ml. If you're like me and don't wear makeup often, this will last you ages!
ConsThe downsides? Coverage, staying power, and lack of sun protection. The coverage is understandable for a BB cream, and it's actually quite good compared to others. The staying power is a bit disappointing. While it doesn't darken much, it can get patchy or separate depending on your skin condition. The lack of sun protection means you'll need to apply sunscreen separately. Using a mineral sunscreen underneath can make it look a bit cakey.
TipFor touch-ups, it's great to put some BB cream in an airless pump bottle and carry an air puff in a case. It's more compact than carrying a cushion compact. You can find these on Coupang!
