Despite being lightweight, it doesn't lack in moisturizing power. It keeps my lips feeling hydrated for about 3-5 hours after application. However, individual experiences may vary. Many other lip essences or balms tend to be oily but lack sufficient moisturization, but this lip essence is neither greasy nor lacking in hydration, making it great for daily use. The formula is dense yet firm, but applies smoothly and comfortably. It doesn't easily wipe off, but it's not as sticky and stubborn as something like a lip tar either - it's just the right balance, which I appreciate. The price is also affordable, and there are often double packs available, which is great. The product also comes in a generous amount.
ConsThe tube-shaped format is difficult to use, as it becomes quite firm in the winter, requiring extra effort to dispense. It also sometimes fails to come out smoothly.
TipThe matte tint can be applied on top to create a glossy effect, which I like.

When your lips are dry, apply it generously and let it soak in overnight. I usually don't attach photos, but this is seriously amazing... Your lips look so pretty! By the way, this is a side profile shot, so it looks a bit strange.
ConsIf you apply too much, it can get greasy😱.. But it's chewy and has great value, so I recommend it.

When I wear this, any tints or lipsticks I apply on top go on beautifully without emphasizing flaky skin.
ConsThere were no shortcomings at all! I was able to purchase 2 items for around 6,000 won at Olive Young, so the price was also reasonable.

It's lightweight When I look at other similar lip balms, they all seem a bit heavy or sticky in texture, but this one is completely different! The texture is very lightweight and there's no stickiness at all, so even if you apply a generous amount, it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. 2. The moisturizing effect is amazing and it really helps with flaky skin As I just mentioned, since it's so lightweight, you might wonder if the moisturizing effect would be good, but it really is great. No matter how dry my lips are or how much flaky skin I have, when I apply this, the moisture just seeps in. The flaky skin gets smoothed out immediately. After applying it, I could feel my previously rough, dry lips become smooth in just a few seconds. It's really amazing. 3. The cost-effectiveness is unbeatable I originally went to buy the Tonymoly lip balm during the Olive Young sale, but this was right next to it. When I checked the price, the Tonymoly one was in the 7,000 won range, while this one was in the 6,000 won range, for the same amount. The Tonymoly one is already really affordable, but this one is even cheaper, which surprised me. I think one of these can last me about 1.5 months if I use it daily, and with 2 of them, it'll last me around 3 months. It's truly an incredible value.
Cons1. The moisturizing effect doesn't last very long While the moisturizing effect of this product is truly excellent, it doesn't last as long compared to other products. It seems to last around 1 hour, and then my lips start to feel dry again. It's not bad, but I'd like to mention that the moisturizing effect is relatively short-lived. 2. The product doesn't come out of the container easily When I first used it, even when I applied a lot of pressure, the lip balm didn't come out very well, and I thought it might have hardened. But after applying a lot of force, the lip balm did come out. Even after that, I still need to apply a decent amount of pressure for the product to come out, but honestly, it's not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.
TipIt may be a bit lacking for nighttime use, so I'd recommend the Etude House Ginger Sugar Lip Balm (the squeeze type) for before bedtime.
