It's lightweight When I look at other similar lip balms, they all seem a bit heavy or sticky in texture, but this one is completely different! The texture is very lightweight and there's no stickiness at all, so even if you apply a generous amount, it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. 2. The moisturizing effect is amazing and it really helps with flaky skin As I just mentioned, since it's so lightweight, you might wonder if the moisturizing effect would be good, but it really is great. No matter how dry my lips are or how much flaky skin I have, when I apply this, the moisture just seeps in. The flaky skin gets smoothed out immediately. After applying it, I could feel my previously rough, dry lips become smooth in just a few seconds. It's really amazing. 3. The cost-effectiveness is unbeatable I originally went to buy the Tonymoly lip balm during the Olive Young sale, but this was right next to it. When I checked the price, the Tonymoly one was in the 7,000 won range, while this one was in the 6,000 won range, for the same amount. The Tonymoly one is already really affordable, but this one is even cheaper, which surprised me. I think one of these can last me about 1.5 months if I use it daily, and with 2 of them, it'll last me around 3 months. It's truly an incredible value.
Cons1. The moisturizing effect doesn't last very long While the moisturizing effect of this product is truly excellent, it doesn't last as long compared to other products. It seems to last around 1 hour, and then my lips start to feel dry again. It's not bad, but I'd like to mention that the moisturizing effect is relatively short-lived. 2. The product doesn't come out of the container easily When I first used it, even when I applied a lot of pressure, the lip balm didn't come out very well, and I thought it might have hardened. But after applying a lot of force, the lip balm did come out. Even after that, I still need to apply a decent amount of pressure for the product to come out, but honestly, it's not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.
TipIt may be a bit lacking for nighttime use, so I'd recommend the Etude House Ginger Sugar Lip Balm (the squeeze type) for before bedtime.
