  This is a water-based toner, not an essence-type. It's lightweight and refreshing. After using it for a few days, existing blemishes calm down and disappear. It's incredibly effective for treating skin troubles. There's a slight scent, but unless you're super sensitive, it feels almost fragrance-free. They've designed it well - just flip and tap, and the perfect amount comes out, allowing you to use exactly as much as you want.

  Cons

  While it claims to address deep dryness, it feels so light that it dries quickly and doesn't provide long-lasting hydration. Those with dry skin will need to apply additional layers.

  Tip

  I tried it because it claimed to control sebum, but it's fantastic for skin troubles. After cleansing thoroughly, if you shake it and apply consistently, it prevents blemishes from appearing - it's truly a wonder product. I highly recommend using this as your base skincare step.

  Pros

  Scent - A nutty rice aroma? Similar at first, but becomes almost unscented with use. Texture - When dispensed, it's like a fluid water toner, but slightly viscous. On the face, you feel tiny particles (too small to really call them that, might be unnoticeable to some) that absorb as you pat it in, leaving a firming sensation. Feel - Seems to fill in deep hydration, and once absorbed, it refines skin texture with a matte finish. It's a bit light for a dry skin toner, yet slightly rich for oily skin. Suitable for various skin types.

  Cons

  Feel - For very dry skin, compared to toners specifically for dry skin types, it may feel like it dries a bit quickly just before applying the next step (essence, ampoule, emulsion, etc.). The slight inconvenience of having to shake the bottle before each use due to ingredient separation.

  Tip

  While it has too many beneficial absorbing ingredients to use solely as an exfoliating toner, it works well as a second step. Use an exfoliating toner first, then apply the Clear Rice-Filled Toner, patting it in to refine texture. This improves overall balance (hydration, texture refinement) and enhances absorption of subsequent skincare steps.

  I highly recommend this toner to those who dislike sticky formulas! As someone who usually dislikes tacky textures, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and refreshing this feels on the skin. The scent is so subtle, you might wonder if your nose is blocked!
