I've truly realized how a single eyeliner color can dramatically change your look after trying shade 19 Ginger Brown. The subtle warm brown with a hint of ginger is incredibly appealing. It's perfect for daily use as it defines your eyes without being too flashy. The eyeliner glides on so smoothly that if you apply too much pressure, you might wear down the tip quickly. With gentle use, it should last quite a while. This eyeliner works hard to enhance your complexion and evens out your skin tone around the eyes. It's great for those with super sensitive skin as it doesn't cause irritation or redness. The color absorbs well into the skin, leaving a natural glow without any pilling or stickiness. - lo**********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRecommendedMay 11, 2025
Great for defining aegyo sal (under-eye puffiness). It applies smoothly and doesn't smudge. It's a bit on the thick side. The staying power is weaker compared to other brands. - di*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsMay 8, 2025
Color: A warm brown, as if a drop of brick was mixed in Application: Glides on very smoothly Staying power: Decent base longevity, but vulnerable to oils Still, it doesn't look messy as it fades Versatility: More for creating a mood than as an eyeliner Perfect for aegyo-sal (under-eye puff) and triangle zone Advantages: Comfortable for warm-toned daily wear Adds life to your complexion even on dull skin days Great value for money Without a sharpener, it applies too thickly, making precise application challenging for those less skilled with makeup For oily eyelids, using a primer is recommended for more stable wear - dl*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 7, 2025
Great portability and excellent color payoff. The almond beige shade in particular seems well-balanced. It's perfect for filling in the darkest part of aegyo-sal (under-eye puffiness), the corners of the mouth, and the triangle zone. The only downside is that it seems a bit prone to breaking. - jm********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 10, 2025
It applies smoothly and has a beautiful color with great pigmentation It applies so smoothly that it's difficult to control the color intensity. You need to sharpen it regularly for easier application Apply it to your aegyo sal (under-eye puff) and use it for shading under the eyes to make them appear more open and give the illusion of aegyo sal - yt********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 14, 2025
I absolutely love the color! It's perfect as an under-eye liner, great for enhancing those adorable small eyes. When I swatched it on the back of my hand and rubbed it, it came off easily, but when used on the eyes, it didn't smudge or break down. The color isn't too intense, so it gives a subtle, soft look that doesn't stand out too much. If you have oily eyelids or tend to tear up easily, the staying power might be a bit of a concern. It's probably best to let it dry for a moment after application. - wl********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 16, 2025
19 Ginger Bun - Great for creating a natural-looking eye-opening makeup effect Comparing it to Lilybyred's Starry Eyes Nine to Nine Gel Eyeliner 19 Mr. Pig, which seemed to clash with my skin tone when applied, Ginger Bun allows for a more natural eye-opening makeup look. To be honest, I bought them as a set mainly for the Linen Beige shade and didn't have high expectations for Ginger Bun, but I'm extremely satisfied with it. There are hardly any downsides, really none at all. The price is reasonable too, so it's all good! This isn't a special tip, but there's a chance you might find it cheaper on other shopping apps rather than at Olive Young, so it's worth checking around. - j1****Oily SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRecommendedDec 2, 2024
The color is absolutely perfect for a subtle lip look! Honestly, you can buy this regardless of your skin tone. The staying power is really disappointing... It starts off intense in the morning, but completely disappears by evening.... - 2k********Dry SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 23, 2024
I found it great for filling in the space under my eyeliner and around my eyes after applying liner, which seemed to make my eyes look bigger. Plus, shade 23 looked quite natural on me, which I really liked. While it's not particularly versatile beyond filling in around the eyes, I'm actually quite satisfied using it just for that purpose. - ju******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 22, 2024
The color payoff and application are fantastic! It's so smooth and the shade is lovely - just swipe it on and you're done! It really cuts down on my makeup routine time, which is amazing. The staying power could be better. It starts to fade after about three hours, but it's easy to touch up, so I'm still using it. Also, the formula is quite soft, so be really careful - it breaks easily (I've broken it 3 times already while using it). When you apply it, it feels a bit heavy. I tried this because it was much cheaper than the Kiss Me product I usually use, but it's definitely different from the brush pen type. This makeup is perfect for creating a subtle under-eye accent for everyday, natural looks! It's absolutely top-notch for lower lash line definition.
