The scent is lovely, and it gives my hair a healthy feel. When rinsing, it leaves a clean sensation. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. Using this product simply makes me feel good. - im*****Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2025
Aveda Shampoo – Luxurious feel, but comes with a hefty price tag I snagged this Aveda shampoo at a discount during a Coupang live sale. Despite the high price, which initially made me hesitate, it's definitely worth the splurge. When the shampoo comes out, it has this opulent, almost gold-dust-like appearance that's truly impressive at first glance. Using it leaves my hair incredibly soft and my scalp feeling refreshed and clean. Unlike other products, it doesn't make my hair stiff – instead, it leaves it immediately soft and manageable after washing. The luxurious scent lingers for quite a while, which is a real mood-booster. However, the main drawback is undoubtedly the price. While it's truly luxurious and effective, the cost makes it difficult to justify as an everyday shampoo, which is a significant downside. If you're in the market for a premium shampoo regardless of cost, I'd recommend this. But if the price is a major concern for you, you might want to think twice before purchasing! - 91***Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDec 22, 2024
This is a luxurious Evada shampoo with a lovely fragrance and high-quality ingredients. I received it as a gift and gave it a try. Shampoo is something you need to use generously, but considering the volume, the price is just too steep. - im*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 21, 2024
The fact that it doesn't produce much lather actually gives it a healthier feel. I'm not sure if it's just my imagination or if it's due to the good ingredients, but I feel like I'm losing less hair than before. You really need to apply it carefully to the scalp only. If you try to lather it up on your hair as well, you'll use up the whole bottle before you know it. I like to part my hair with a comb, apply it to my scalp, and massage it in. Then I use a different shampoo that lathers well, but only on the hair itself. This seems to clean both my scalp and hair effectively, which I really appreciate. - 01*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinOct 16, 2024
Why did they have to change the formula? 😢 Though I do like the addition of turmeric. At least it's still gentle on the scalp. I've been using this for nearly a decade, so I bought the big bottle even after the reformulation... But now it makes my hair so limp and flat! I use this as a pre-shampoo to cleanse my scalp. - ee****Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresSep 27, 2024
I snagged this at a great price from duty-free. It has a lovely scent and feels gentle on the skin. The packaging is inconvenient. It's difficult to get the product out. Also, it barely lathers, so I'm not sure if it's actually cleansing effectively. - ya*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 22, 2024
Aveda Invati, which I consider the most premium line in the anti-hair loss shampoo world. I've heard it's often gifted to new mothers post-pregnancy. With a price tag of around $170 for 1,000ml even after discounts on the official site, I trembled but finally took the plunge and bought it. From the moment you dispense it, you can feel the incredibly thick solution. The scent reminds me of traditional herbal medicine, probably due to the ginseng ingredient. Though I haven't used it for long, despite my oily scalp, thorough washing kept noticeable scalp odor at bay. I didn't experience significant itching or blemishes either. Moreover, I noticed a reduction in hair fall during washing. If I see a noticeable increase in hair volume, I'll update my review! The biggest drawback is the price... price... price. It's hard to justify. Also, the fragrance doesn't last very long. Before shampooing, I recommend thoroughly brushing your hair with a Tangle Teezer or comb. Then, wet your scalp with lukewarm water for at least a minute before applying shampoo. The main purpose of shampooing is to remove dead skin cells, so it's better to soften the scalp first rather than applying shampoo to a dry scalp. Rinse thoroughly, and you should see an improvement in your scalp condition. - dl**********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 5, 2024
There's a reason why some brands stand the test of time. I've always struggled with seborrheic dermatitis, so I bought this on a friend's recommendation. Now I'm on my third repurchase! The price... Even though I'm very satisfied and keep buying it, it still makes me wince a bit when I think about it. - na********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJun 29, 2024
Compared to other shampoos, it slows down oil production and reduces scalp odor. It feels refreshing when washing. For an anti-hair loss shampoo, it oddly causes more hair fall than other shampoos. The scent is somewhat reminiscent of laundry soap. It's quite expensive. Hair feels stiff when washing, which seems to increase hair loss.
