I bought this after reading reviews saying it's long-lasting and stains well, but it comes off easier than expected. Don't buy it if you're hoping for strong staining power. It's better to purchase if you like the color itself.

The mauve shade is beautiful. The color payoff is great, and it would be perfect for those with cool undertones.

I've repurposed this as a cream blush instead.
When patted onto the cheeks, the color spreads beautifully, so it seemed wasteful to discard it. I'm now using it as a blush... oh well.

However... the staying power? Well, that's another story. I couldn't detect any at all.
True to its "Shocking" name, it creates a truly shocking yogurt effect on the inner lips. After wearing it for a while, when you speak, it leaves a white residue inside your mouth... This was truly alarming. I was startled when I went to the restroom during work.

Even though I have deep winter cool-toned skin, the color payoff is disappointingly sheer. While the shade is pretty, it has absolutely no presence on the lips.

The application is incredibly smooth and pleasant!
Its mousse-like texture glides effortlessly onto the lips, making it easy to control the amount. The color is a soft, ashy mauve that creates a mood perfect for winter cool-toned individuals. It's not too dark, making it an ideal shade for everyday wear!

If you don't apply it carefully, it can look way too intense. The pigmentation is good, but it comes off when eating. Does it make your lips look twisted because they're dry?

It applies smoothly and has a lovely scent. The color is beautiful too. The price isn't bad either, so I plan to keep using it. If you're on the fence because of some drawbacks, it's still worth trying. It looks prettier than other products.

For best results, apply the tint all over your lips, then use a lip pencil to soften the edges for an overlined effect. Top it off with a lip gloss or plumper for added dimension. I recommend the light blue collagen plumper from Daiso. It helps neutralize the color, allowing for a natural, blurred lip look.

I was searching for a long-lasting tint when I heard about the incredible staying power of Tony Moly's Shocking Lip, so I decided to try it - and it's truly amazing! I have an allergy to lip products, so I apply Vaseline first and then layer this on top, yet it still has great longevity! For those without allergies, I imagine it would have even better staying power when applied directly! As a winter cool tone, shade 10 Mauve Shocking suited me beautifully! This is my second tube, and I've used it up completely. I'm definitely planning to repurchase!

Following the website's instructions, I applied it, blotted with a tissue, and repeated three times - the staying power is incredible! As you layer it, it can get a bit muddy like red bean paste, so I only apply two layers all over and a third layer just on the inner part of my lips. Just a heads up, if you have a darker complexion, this might make you look a bit sallow!

There's a slight tendency for it to develop a 'yogurt-like' texture on the lips, unfortunately.

For better longevity, apply the product, wait a minute, wipe it off with a wet wipe to remove dead skin cells, then reapply a thin layer.

If you apply it when you have dead skin cells, it flakes off, so exfoliation is necessary before use. The color appears darker than expected... :( On days when your lips aren't in good condition, it stings more than other products.

Here's my review after using it! The color looks as expected when first applied, but it settles into a slightly darker tone over time. The staying power is excellent - it lasts about 3 hours without eating anything. However, after drinking or eating, about 80% comes off. Still, I'm very satisfied.
