I tried the Cica Soothing Powder Cleanser for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by its cleansing effectiveness. It exceeded my expectations. I wish the particles were a bit finer. Although I use a small amount and work it into a lather with water, I can't help but think it would be even better if the granules were more delicate. My routine is to always create a rich lather when cleansing, leaving it on like a mask for a moment. Then I gently massage it all over my face. After rinsing, my skin feels wonderfully clean. - ce*********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 25, 2025
I was eager to try a powder wash cleanser, so after doing quite a bit of research, I chose this product. Although there weren't many reviews on Hwahae or elsewhere, the feedback was positive, which influenced my decision. The powder is the same mint green color as the container and has a refreshing scent. The particles are fine, so there's absolutely no irritation when it touches the skin, and it creates a rich lather. I was concerned that its slightly acidic nature might compromise its cleansing effectiveness, but I'm satisfied with how it cleanses thoroughly without causing any deep dryness. There aren't any real drawbacks. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it's slightly on the pricier side. For best results, thoroughly wet your face to soften the skin. Then, use a foam net or another tool to create a rich lather. Apply it to your face, but instead of immediately massaging, let it sit for about 3-5 minutes. After that, gently massage and rinse off. This method enhances both the cleansing power and dead skin cell removal. - ye*******Normal SkinRecommendedFeb 4, 2025
I tried a sample I received! I'm a fan of the Tocobo brand, so I paid for a separate sample. I've been using their sunscreen and sun stick, and I've tried small samples of their toner and cream. This was my first time trying the powder wash! The first thing that stood out was the scent. I'm usually sensitive to fragrances, but I was really satisfied with how pleasant this one was every time I used it. The ingredients are gentle, and it worked well for my dry and sensitive skin. It lathers nicely, and the powder dissolves well, causing no irritation to my skin. It left my skin feeling hydrated with a nice finish. I love the design, and the product quality is great, making it a good gift option too! I couldn't find any reasons to not recommend it. In fact, I found it even better to use than regular cleansing foams! - ba*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 27, 2024
It lathers up nicely and is gentle on the skin when used properly. I've repurchased it. Rating: 5 stars The only downside isn't with the product itself, but the lid doesn't close well. I wish the lid was more sturdy - rc********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessNov 6, 2024
After using this product with my usual skincare routine, my face has a noticeable glow and radiance. No improvement in complexion. No reduction in sebum. No refinement of skin texture. It's not a bad product by any means! It's not worse than other enzyme powders either! It's just that the effects of this powder itself aren't particularly noticeable. - db**********Combination SkinInner DrynessRecommendedOct 1, 2024
I absolutely love the cica line! It cleanses so well without being harsh on the skin. I bought it during a sale, so I can't really complain about anything. - na******Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 15, 2024
This is my honest review of the Toboco product that I purchased with my own money. After using Toboco's sun stick, I was skeptical but decided to buy their peeling gel. Now, I'm 500% sure I'll repurchase it! I was amazed from the first use. Initially, I had questions: Why the plastic container? Isn't the amount small? Won't the powder irritate my skin? But all my doubts were resolved as soon as I tried it. The plastic makes it travel-friendly. The amount is actually sufficient, and if water gets in, the powder dissolves, so this quantity is plenty. The powder transforms into a creamy texture like ice cream when it touches water, exfoliating without irritation. What surprised me most was that after exfoliation, there was absolutely no dryness, tingling, or irritation! It's truly fantastic! I love everything about it - the container, the amount, the product itself. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the hole where the powder comes out could be just a tad bigger. You apply the powder directly to your wet face and rub it in. Even so, it doesn't sting or irritate at all. - an*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 15, 2024
This was my first time using an enzyme cleanser and I absolutely love it! The texture is fantastic. It didn't irritate my skin at all and worked wonderfully. Highly recommend! - ww****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedAug 28, 2024
I've been really interested in enzyme products lately, and this is great for double cleansing There's nothing particularly disappointing about it... I'm very satisfied using it! - tj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedJul 22, 2024
It dissolves well in water and lathers nicely even with a small amount. I love that you can adjust the consistency of this powder wash by controlling the amount of water. After cleansing, there's no slippery feeling, and my skin doesn't feel tight. It seems like a great option for those with super sensitive skin or anyone looking for gentle exfoliation of dead skin cells. I don't have any complaints. It works well for my skin without causing any blemishes, which I really appreciate.
