It has a beige, fluid consistency similar to a regenerating BB cream. This makes it great for a natural 'no-makeup' look (or when going foundation-free). It's beneficial when applied just as blemishes are starting to appear. While I'm not sure about its effect on pores, I noticed a slight improvement in skin texture. It's more effective on fresh acne scars rather than older ones. Before applying Phytocin, it's crucial to thoroughly hydrate your skin (apply ampoule or serum, followed by a moisturizer, then Phytocin). Allow sufficient time for your skincare to absorb before applying Phytocin to minimize pilling. If you apply Phytocin without proper hydration, it might actually cause small bumps, as it focuses more on regeneration than hydration. Also, be aware that it may transfer onto your pillow due to its beige color. Don't be stingy when applying. Use a generous amount, about a fingertip's worth, which might seem a bit excessive. Spread it widely over your face, then gently pat to help it absorb better. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 31, 2024
It seems like my skin isn't getting worse anymore... I feel like there's a slight improvement in my skin condition. I started using this after it was recommended at an esthetic salon, and I've seen it pop up on Instagram frequently since then. However, I'm not sure yet if it has the power to completely banish blemishes! There wasn't a dramatic change... The texture is a bit rich, so if you apply too much before makeup, it might cause pilling. That's a bit disappointing. I found that it absorbs well when you pat an appropriate amount onto your skin.
