I bought the regenerating cream/finishing cream. I heard it was perfect for no-makeup makeup, so despite the price making me go 'Huh?', I decided to purchase it. But oh boy, was I disappointed! I thought I'd done my research by reading reviews, but this item easily takes the crown for 'Most Regrettable Purchase'. Even with a solid skincare routine underneath, it makes my skin feel super dry and tight. Yet paradoxically, it also makes my face an oil slick. It doesn't seem to have any regenerating effects at all - feels like false advertising to me. Am I the only one experiencing this? I bought it last winter when it was incredibly popular, but looking at recent reviews, it seems many others are finding it disappointing too. Causes severe dryness and excessive oiliness. Problematic even when applied over a thorough skincare routine. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMay 5, 2025
I bought this on sale before the renewal, tempted by the hype. Everyone kept saying it's a 'foundation-free foundation'. But after using it for three months, I'm not really seeing anything special. I guess because it's expensive, I diligently applied it morning and night, thinking it was improving my skin. But it doesn't seem to be making much difference. It might be better to just buy a decent product and apply it generously. Also, you need a referral code, and seeing people going on overseas trips, this seems like another multi-level marketing scheme. They're just commenting among themselves, tsk. It's greasy and too runny. The coverage is practically non-existent. It works a bit better if you pat it in instead of rubbing it like a cream. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 27, 2025
It's as good as its price suggests! Absorbs well and tackles dryness. It gives a beautiful glow! It does feel a bit rich. I have skin prone to blemishes, but it didn't cause any breakouts. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2025
It absorbs well and doesn't cause any new blemishes when applied However, if you apply too much, it can lead to small bumps due to its rich texture - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 14, 2025
It's great for fading blemishes and calming acne. I feel like my complexion is becoming brighter. It seems a bit too rich, and considering the amount, it feels a bit pricey. Apply before going to bed at night - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 1, 2025
It concealed some blemishes as if I had applied a light coverage, giving my skin a more polished appearance Despite having oily skin, I applied a pea-sized amount as instructed, but it made my face look extremely shiny, almost like an oil slick. I couldn't really tell if it helped with blemishes. Plus, it's way overpriced - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 29, 2024
I've been using this for over a year. It seems suitable for dry, normal, combination, and acne-prone skin, but those with extremely dry skin might need to amp up their hydration routine beforehand. It absorbs well, gliding on smoothly. There's a slight cooling effect that makes application even more pleasant. The absorption is so good that you don't need to worry about how much you're using - it's great even for frequent application when your skin isn't at its best! When my skin was dry or had a lot of dead skin cells, the cream seemed to sit on top a bit. However, if I properly hydrated my skin before applying, it absorbed much better. For oily, acne-prone skin, you might need to control the amount as it can feel a bit rich if you apply too much. So, it seems you need to adjust your skincare routine and product amount based on your skin type. In winter, I found it works best when I first apply toner and ampoule to deeply hydrate, then use an emulsion with a bit of oil instead of a water cream, before applying this product. It seems to pair better with slightly richer creams. The result is a beautiful Inner Glow that makes your complexion look gorgeous. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 26, 2024
It's on the richer side, but the hydration lasts so long that my skin feels comfortable. As someone with seborrheic skin, even products known for good hydration often leave me dry quickly, so I really liked this one. I haven't experienced any blemishes yet. Due to its richness, I only use it all over my face before bed. In the morning, I apply it just to my dry cheeks and chin (I have seborrheic dermatitis). Before bed - whole face Morning - dry areas only (cheeks, chin) - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 3, 2024
When my skin is really damaged, applying this before bed makes it feel better by morning! It reduces redness, though it doesn't necessarily decrease blemishes. I like how it slightly covers imperfections and evens out my complexion. It's nice, but it's quite rich and too expensive! The shade is also a bit dark. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 3, 2024
I haven't found any positives yet... I was tempted to buy it because of all the ads on Instagram. It's too greasy for my oily skin. Also, a few minutes after applying, my face starts to feel itchy and turns red, though it subsides after a while. I'm not sure why this happens or if it just doesn't suit me.
