If you're expecting it to be similar to Laneige, don't buy this. It has a much lighter texture, between a sorbet and Vaseline. While it's light enough to wear to bed, it's inconvenient to carry around and use on-the-go. For those of us with chronically chapped lips, we need something richer like Laneige that really works hard to hydrate.

I was so curious when I heard Daiso released a sleeping mask pack, so I had to buy it! The texture is somewhere between a sorbet and Vaseline - it's not sticky at all and feels light, like your lips are comfortable. There's a subtle citrus scent that isn't too overpowering, but I'm not sure if I'd call it yuzu exactly. It comes with a dual spatula, so you can apply it without getting it on your hands.

While it helps remove dead skin cells when I wipe off the lip mask in the morning, I don't think the hydration effect is that great. Even though I apply it religiously every single day, my lips still crack daily.

The spatula was a bit small, causing the product to get on my hands. Even after tolerating the smell and leaving it on for about 30 minutes before wiping it off, its performance was not as good compared to other products.

The included spatula made it easy to apply the product to my lips. There was very little separation of the product, which was great.

Test it once before buying! Don't waste your money like I did... It's so itchy.

After using it, I woke up the next morning to find about 4-5 red spots on my lips, and it was really itchy, so I threw it away right away.

Compared to the Olive Young lip mask, this one feels much softer and slippery. There's zero residue, but it doesn't effectively soften dead skin cells. While it worked well in summer, now that early fall has arrived, my lips don't feel plump at all.

The scent is absolutely divine! It's a refreshing citrus aroma that even my friend fell in love with at first whiff.
